Again, another solid set of rankings. I still continue to question USJ over FRA. My take (and this is personal opinion only) is that a team should remain behind in the rankings if it has never fared well in the playoffs whereas the other team has (take FRA and USJ in the old A-AA state tournament).

Well to be honest, I did like seeing that, but "under the radar" is supposed to be the best ranking. I was just impressed how quickly Mr. M made some big moves that probably are mush closer to the real world, regarding several schools.

For the West, I would say that Briarcrest is a little over-ranked and St. Benedict's a little under-ranked. Commercial Appeal has St. Benedict's in top five and not Briarcrest.

I'm not sure how the rankings are calculated for Coach T; however, I do know that all of Briarcrest's games are reported on CoachT. There are about 8 games that have been played by Briarcrest that have not been reported to the Commercial Appeal where all of St Benedict's games have been reported. With that said, the ranking authorities have different data to consider in the rankings.

 

I would guess that both assess the relative talent level of the opponent, and both would consider reported data. With one ranking body have all data versus one ranking body having incomplete data, it would be difficult to compare the rankings on an apples to apples basis.
