The only time you have picked them to win was CHS right? or was there another gut wrenching pick for a win?, so whats new. Loudon may win, but i like my teams chances if they play for 4 quarters.

I picked BC to beat Coffee Co., Cleveland, and East Ridge......Ya'll can beat Loudon, but it will be a test and Charlie is just picking,,,,play four quarters, you have a good chance....Charlie is giving D-FLo a  as much as it pains me, BC has definitely improved in fundamentals, and more importantly discipline.....The exact opposite has happened at the Blue School,,,Charlie thinks the discipline and leadership went to Colorado....

Keep making those picks thru Raider Blue Glasses. Your still the Super Freak. ;)

You flatter me by suggesting I am the LEGEND,,,,,,,

I'm CHARLIE MURPHY!

Your secret is safe with me. ;)

Playing Loudon??????????

Way to go Coach Floyd. Another powder puff game. I just hope you win this one (wink wink, Polk Co.).

I can't believe the AD let Floyd get away with this schedule.

Who's next? Silverdale Academy? Oh, never mind. The Bears already scrimmaged them this year.

Sounds like your jealous "fish-face" .Your kind of like that fish i caught the other day- big mouth always open, but nothing good coming out. What is it--- your mad cause the BEARS are ahead of you on district 5 rankings! HA HA HA Just keep bumping your gums, your haterism is funny as heck!!

Just ignore them for now..Our day is on it's way.

First off i'm a polk fan and former member of the team now that out of the way. Bradley can win this game jsut got to keep the heads on straight and stay focused. Loudon is a good team and should be a good game. I'm glad to see bradley doing good and beating cleveland was great now they just got to keep building off that. They got some tough games coming up and they should be able to give them a fight and might be able to come out on top. Bradley was so far the only test polk has had all year and i look forward to this game next year both teams will have plenty of returning starters. Good Luck to the Bears on the rest of the season

Should be interesting to see how loudon responds after last week. Their play against Alcoa this year was excellent for 3 quarters (alcoa scored twice in the 3rd qtr but the rest of the game was pretty even). Against CAK last week, however, they came out flat and could never get anything going offensively. I think CAK was better than anticipated and Loudon couldnt overcome costly mistakes and for the most part didnt look like themselves.

Hopefully we can get back on track this week and come out with W

What can the fans expect to see from BC? do they run or throw more? Any players of interest to watch for?

We run a variation of a spread that is run heavy, sometimes an I..depends on the down and distance, sometimes the gun.. Our FB Massengale has only had 1 or 2 negative gains all season that i can remember. Our running back Houston is very shifty and can fly in the open field. We will throw when we have to and when you dont expect it. Our QB is young but has a great arm and very good decisions most of the time. We will line up under center and the gun.O-Line has played great most of the year.Athletic at allot of the skill positions. Kicking game has been solid.

Defensive line has played great since the first game, secondary even better.

What we do on offense or defense isnt tricky or shiny, after a tough lesson vs Polk, they play for 4 quarters and dont give up.

BC has a good balance of pass and run. Play makers running is #1 "D" train massingale, justen houston will break your ankles. passing take your choice #25 Smiley, #4 White, Kaiser, Stovall , and last but not least Ramage (if its near him he comes down with it) A Big strong athletic line, that wears on a "D"!! A "D" that is deep and rotates a lot--they stay fresh, hustle to the ball and love to "HIT" Oh yeah dont forget Copeland at QB young but smart, fast and athletic!!

An observation from the Loudon / CAK game. Loudon has to avoid costly penalties. They had several very untimely penalties that stopped drives. If they can avoid "helping" BC, I see this as a bounce back game for Loudon. Their QB is extremely elusive and has good speed. #5, Wallace is dangerous every time he gets the ball. Good luck to Loudon; hope you guys represent 3A well!

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
