skeeter
wc seems to be using their bye week very smartly, i think they are the most motivated bunch of guys i have ever seen, very unselfish and when a play is made they all celebrate together as a TEAM should because they understand that it takes everybody for every play to succeed, as for monkey wrench and stupidewman you two should meet somewhere and talk so the rest of us dont have to waste our time listening to you!!! Congrats on another "bye week" Waynce County... Thats eleven in a row!! Skeeter are you saying that Wayne County hasn't played anyone or what?[/quoteJ Iv'e been saying it all year... just take a look a Strength of Schedule right here on Coach T... Be patient, you'll have to scroll all the way to the bottom.

WCHSGRAD
Iv'e been saying it all year... just take a look a Strength of Schedule right here on Coach T... Be patient, you'll have to scroll all the way to the bottom. It's funny to me that WC has beaten 4 of the 6 teams in their Quad and their Quad has the best overall record in the 1a playoffs. I think there's about 6 teams that they beat made the playoffs 4 in 1a, 1 in 2a & 1 in 4a. I agree some of the teams were down this year that are on their schedule but they seemed to beat everyone they played soundly. I think they got the 1 seed due to having a stronger schedule than Jo Byrns. Looks like WC may have beaten a tougher schedule than most people have given them credit for. I believe that C'wood & Perry County both would win several games in the playoffs if the playoffs were laid out differently.

It plainly reads, "teams are ranked based on the average win % of its scheduled opponents"... Wayne Counties strength of schedule ranks 76 OUT OF 80 !!! Actually, I'm not trying to dance around the facts at all. I haven't seen very many good teams this year and wished that WC could have faced a few more good teams. All I know is when the season was completed several teams on WC's schedule had made the playoffs. 4 teams from our region made the playoffs with winning records (1a) and that is probably the most from any one region in the state. I know WC had a few soft teams on the schedule but it looks like every other team did as well except the soft teams. By the way, who is your team and how did they finish? wildcatalumni
Oh skeet..skeet, well with the way the schedule has played out after the season has ended looks like WC had a pretty tough one. Its like WCHSGRAD said we played more teams with a .500 or better record than JB did and more teams from our schedule made the playoffs than JB's, and no one is trying to dance around anything, I just think you have nothing else to say cause the facts are there. I'm not trying to say anything bad bout JB though, just so real JB fans don't get mad. JB is good and I hope we get to play ya'll in the third round if our boys can get the job done. Go Cats. theshow
Did I hear the PA announcer doing "play by play"? I hope that was the radio station in the background or that could get quite annoying. C'ville has the most annoying PA announcer ever period. WC looks good to go deep in the playoffs yall are very very solid. And with an extra week of rest and preparation next week could get ugly for c'wood or mcewen. Good luck in the playoffs. Good luck in the playoffs. the bye weeks either are awesome or severely bite you in the butt! PA announcers shouldnt be able to do play by play like that...all they should really say is who tackled who. or who got the INT or fumble recovery..ya know stuff like that.. Trust me we don't like it anymore than you do I think there is a rule about the announcer "taking a side". I know they aren't supposed to question calls or anything like that... I don't think they're supposed to be cheerleaders either.
