Basbeall in the Mid State looks very strong this year due to a great group of talent in the class of 2010. Everyone is familliar with those names. How bout the juniors ready to make an impact for their teams?

Let's here about some different names too. Maybe some sleepers.

Pretty strong list right there. A little too broad for me but some nice contributions. One kid that definately has a very live arm is Cody Hartley from Nashville Christian. Got to see him when I watched the Franklin Outlaws play. Also the two starters from Independence have a lot of talent, and the Lee kid's swing is one of the better ones I've seen.

Baseballfanman I like your picks and input from the Rutherford county side of things. I would have to say your list is a little large as well. Seems a little bias toward the Segiel side of things. Would like to say Tyler Fulerton's speed and versatility gives him tremendous upside. The Blackman two are very good hitters and Weil's size is impressive.

What is broad about that list?

Independence: Bryan Miller-best pitcher in the District, more movement on breaking stuff that I've ever seen, straight up nasty

Ravenwood: Andrew Cash-great hitter, tough out

Franklin: Jake Little-Best all around player in the District, has it all, pure stud

Page: Daniel Johnson(sleeper)-crafty little left handed P/1b with a pretty good stick

    • Clinton fans can only wait and set idle while the school is being drug through the mud and trying to figure out when they have finally hit the bottom.
    • Mancoverage sez: Thank you for weaving, with the written word, such a descriptive tapestry of your mind’s sherlockian thought machinations. It read’s as though it is the collaborative brain child of Thomas “The Ox of Sicily” Aquinas and John “Give Him 6!” Ward. Somewhere in this, the thoughtful mind will find, the exact future of Trousdale County Football. The Goat sez: Ox?!? Pffft. I can do stuff a dumb ole bull can do. I can take an “a” and I can take an “o” and I can do better and more of that bull stuff… in Latin. Diarrhoea Fecaes  The next coach of ole Snoball’s Yeller Jackets, ain’t on that list.
    • One school gets fined over $4,000 dollars because they had a baseball coach that gets ejected over a rule that is not in the rule book today (because no umpires in Tennessee called that rule when that coach was ejected). One school will get fined over $3,000 dollars because they had a football coach intentionally cheated. I hope TSSAA keeps a receipt over what schools they fined and how much, and for what reason. Meanwhile, if I'm a football coach at a school that has $3,000+ in the piggy bank, then hmmm.. No one knew Clinton was cheating intentionally until they went overboard and changed over 1,000 grades, and the word got out.
    • I didn’t know South Pittsburgs schedule could get any easier …
    • I just learned of this today and am very happy for Coach Peek. Excellent coach, better man.
