The absolute worst girls district in the state. I am ashamed to be a part of 13A. Please put us back in 14A.

Looks like the top 4 will be Gleason, Dresden, West Carroll, and McKenzie in that order.

Gleason has a good shot at winning in the regional tourney...this year. Next year, yall may have trouble winning outside of 13A.

Uh Oh. the sandbagging has started a little earlier this year.

I have watched Gleason for over 20 years and this is one of the weakest teams we have had. No leaders and if we hadnt got moved to 13A we would have lost 10 games this year. We dont play Humboldt, Lake County, Trenton, Union City or any good teams like we use to. We use to beat Obion and alot of AA and AAA teams in tournaments. Now we play Big Sandy, Carrol Academy, Clarksburg, Bruceton, McKenzie and teams we can play our bteam and beat, now we play Trinity and pions in tournaments. Its really hurts me to go and watch this years team. Dont tell me this team is a top team in the state.

I think Gleason has a chance to beat a 4 seed from 14. Our tops will be Lake County, Greenfield, Humboldt and ??...u never know.

Bradford who is currently in the 5 spot team in 14A has already beat Gleason so I'm with taterbaby. We may lose our first game in the region.

I haven't seen Gleason like taterbaby or monsterman but I do know Gleason beat Greenfield once this year and I did see them in the loss at Greenfield but there's certainly no shame in that..There's about 20 more teams that can say the same thing,with Lake Co being one of them..I saw enough talent in the loss to know if Gleason comes to play ball..they have a great shot at winning the regional tournament..At the same time..out of the District 14A teams..Gleason will probably have the toughest first round game in the tournament..It could be Greenfield,Lake Co.,Bradford,Humboldt,Trenton in the first round..But I'll admit..if Gleason were in District 14 A..it sure would have been unreal ..already was tough..I'm sure Gleason would have some more losses..but some of us may have more also.!

Whenever our post player quits crying and plays basketball we might be a good team but when our new coach calls her our best player on the radio its a joke. She is not our best player and cant even dribble.

 

 

He probably kind of has to say that..doesn't he?? look at his ultimate boss...but you are right, I 've watched Gleason play 6 games this year...when she stops trying to "flop" like she is being beaten by a mugger in the paint and starts to play---your team will do better. Enjoy the high ranking, win the district by 20 and hope a top team in 14a gets beat in the district...only chance of getting to semis in region.

All the top teams in 14A had better win their first game or we'll be sitting home..I kinda doubt Halls or South Fulton beating Greenfield or Lake Co...If those teams were playing Trenton,Humboldt or Bradford..could see it happening..But if the top teams lose after the first game..could be a chance we play Gleason in the first round in the region..Lake Co or Greenfield would have to suffer 2 losses and finish 4th but if that were to happen..would have two teams in the top 5 or 6 in the state playing in the first round.With a lot of pressure..Sure hope that doens't happen.!
