27-0!!! Well INDY nation, how did that whole "unsuspected-underdog' vibe work out for ya'?

27-0!!! Our House?!?! Did nobody tell you that you have never won at Franklin? Let me clarify that, you have never made it a close game at Franklin.

INDY nation, let me leave you with this solace... You did not beat a single district opponent this year (with a .500 record or better), You failed to beat a 6A district opponent all year long. And now you have failed to score against Franklin for the duration of 2009. INDY nation, take all of your meaningless trash-talk and crawl back in your hole until next year. And during your offseason, answer the question of what in God's green earth are you going to do without #7 on your team next year. The list of questions down at INDY gets longer each and every year (with no sign of answers). That miracle season back in 2007, seems to get farther away doesn't it?

How about you figure out how to score a touchdown before you open your mouth against the Rebels from now on...

nope that 2007 "miracle"season still brings a smile to my face when I was on the sidelines and saw the FHS players on thier knees, tears streaming down thier cheeks......

Look you fall for a bunch of high school kids that get on here and talk "smack" about IHS whipping FHS - you cant blame these high school kids as they are showing support for thier school. Anyone with a sniff of football knowedge and out of high school could have told you FHS would win this game ( did i think INDY would make it a closer game then the final score, yes I did )

I actually resonded to an IHS on this topic when he said FHS was overrated. I think I told him that your (FHS) is a very good team with a great defense and that the most yall gave up this year was 21 pts...... I also said that your running game was to good for INDY to stop AND you would win - Heckman , any coach in the district would want that kid as thier QB-Indy has a very very good QB in waiting A. Thompson, how will you live w/o lee and ford?

you whipped IHS - you deserve the smack talk , but no reason to bash....

and for the record, i heard that next year huskergymnast INDY A.D. Dyson has extended you a welcome and wants you to put your gymnast man tights on and perform a floor routine during halftime,,,,,,,,,,,,

but congrats to the REBS on the beat-down and i do think you will beat BHS

to the INDY nation - as much as i hate to say huskergymnast hit it on the nail about INDY's season this year, (record within divison)

the spanking IHS got tonight was the icing on the cake - the talent level between the two teams is almost on par with one another but not to warrant a combined 48-0 total....sure FHS does have the two headed monster of Ford/Lee..

45 rush attempts 340 yards 7.5 ave that is what happened last night - wow did anyone in the stands not think that FHS was going to run the ball. I was not there and I know lee and ford are talented backs but what in the heck happend to the rushing defense- did IHS not load the box to stop the run>

back to this season -

columbia - yes an IHS win but CHS loaded up its wins versus a patty cake schedule

Hillsboro- when IHS played them i think the Borros season high for points was 10, the boro boys put up i think 24 pts and should have walked away with a W.

Arlington - it is what all have been saying, that Arlington was overrated and would have more then likely battled the cougars of CHS for last place if they were in our district.

Now comes Ravenwood game- talk about flat, and just horrible...

lastly FHS game - no way , yes FHS is talented but no way they should basically bully us out of the stadium like they did....

coach Eubanks- very good guy but I will come out and say time to move on Coach Eubanks.

you inhereted an 07 team that was loaded with talent, and after that you have been outcoached in almost every game- last year you killed me and almost Heckman-you made it too easy for d-cords to prepare for you ...

Maybe some IHS boosters can come up with a slush fund and talk Rector into coming back to the high school ranks again

GASP! COUGH! SPUTTER! WHEEZE! THE LIGHTS ARE GETTING DIM.

As stated earlier, IHS chokes. Glad you made the playoffs, beat Arlington and saved the Rebel Nation some gas money. We'll be able to afford some new warm camo outfits for the game @ B'wood.

I was happy to see that some of your fans chose to stay until the end of the game. Not usually the norm.

P.S. Trying to mess up the field! Really! A very pathetic attempt. Get some class and act like you belong in WillCo. That's the kind of stuff we expect from idiots.

P.S.S. Until you win somewhere (once would be a start), it's not your house. Morons!

Looks to me like you need to focus on running more than 3 different plays, instead trying to figure out if we were overrated. We were not shut out by anyone and would not have been by anyone in your district either. You beat us, true, but good teams from time to time get upset. We played bad, you played the game of your life. Kudos to you for the upset. :| You saved franklin arrogance a beat down, and the same for the billionaire brentwood boys. Fear not though rich boys!!! The west is coming, and the refrees are the only thing that can save you. :|:thumb:

Good luck.... jokers

Where was Alex "the second coming" Heckman tonight?

The same place he has been for the last three games against Franklin--in the headlights.

Trivia question: Who was the last Indy QB to put any points on the board against Franklin in the past two years? Little clue--his number wasn't 7 and he did put up 21 in a little more than a quarter but still wasn't considered good enough. Blind faith can kill you sometimes.

It is amazing to all that you only come out of your hole when Indy loses. You know you may finally get your wish but it is not going to change the fact that your son lost his spot fair and square on the field of play. Get over it and move on. Obviously your son has.

What is really amazing are the assumptions and conclusions made by others based on observations/guesses and the continued blind support of a progam that can't or won't admit mistakes and at least try to address them in a fashion that gives their team a chance. How well prepared do you think this program will be for next year when there has not been one meaningfull varsity game snap taken by someone other than #7? Isn't that part of coaching--to prepare and bring others along for the future? Maybe not. Just an assumption, I guess.

Trust me, I've resisted commenting on this board many times during this season about QB/RB stats/etc(or lack thereof). But the question asked about where was #7 begged to be answered. I'll try not to upset you bandwagoners too much with any additional posts.

Enjoy the new coach/program next year. It's bound to be an improvement and once again you can all follow blindly without questioning. It will at least provide interesting and amusing reading.

Nice to see you again Mr. Smith... Back posting on this board and bashing # 7-glad you can make fun of 17 year old high school football player YOUR TRIVIA QUESTION showed alot of class.... I have a trivia question , WHOM CAUGHT NICK SMITHS last pass before he was yanked out at halftime and lost his starting QB position for the rest of the year ? ANSWER: Damonta Williams of Memphis East a pick 6 ( remember a slip screen think smith was color blind )

WAIT it gets better you stated the following """"How well prepared do you think this program will be for next year when there has not been one meaningfull varsity game snap taken by someone other than #7? Isn't that part of coaching--to prepare and bring others along for the future? """"

what the heck are you talking about, what did you want Eubanks to do, rotate QB's or let A. Thompson takes snaps from time to time - I guess Rector was an idiot as well for never letting anyone else take snaps or preparing another QB for Jennings or Becker ? Wait coach for Smyrna he was a fool ( i looked up the stats ) he was a fool as well, he didnt let anyone take a "meanigfull snap" when Sonny Gray was thier and they done well the following year...

after the hamburlar was released from the team and Jay Cutler ( sorry i mean nick ) was yanked a sophmore came on whom never took a varstiy snap and he set the league on fire and in fact still holds state record for paassing yds in a state championship game..

For the record heckman is a warrior- yes he was let down by horrible coaching and play calling - i told you last year a member of RHS coaching staff told me " IHS was too predictable"

how did ur boy do intramural football this year?
