Dawgman75
Lunsford called the dogs off at the end. They were on the 3, ready to score with 1:21 remaining and they went into the victory formation and ran the clock out. Not a perfect game, but better than Tellico and that's all that matters. Good game dogs! Enjoy the victory and get back to work on Monday!!
Dawgfan88
As someone said earlier, not a perfect game, but the Dogs pulled it out, and move on. The ODell guy is some back, let me say. If TP had somene else to help with the load instead of him having to carry everything, they may well have won tonight. Hampton's offense was far more balanced, with several different players doing thier bit, which made for a long night for Tp's def. line. I give TP credit, they played tough. I take some exception to all those face mask penalties they kept getting, it makes it look like they're playing dirty. I think Tellico had 5-6 personal foul penalties due to face-mask in this game. However when they tried to pass, Hampton picked off several int's to snuff out drives. All in all, Hampton played well enough to win, but needs to work on some things for next week. Congrats to Tellico Plains, you had a great season, hope you have a safe trip home. Go Dogs!
kazam37
Pujo.....you old goat.....we ain't comin' up. Rockwood played like champions, and they are making the trip I would have liked to have taken. You'll have your hands full with this Tiger bunch. I wish you well. Your boys must have found O'Dell, huh? Our ball turned round for the rest of this season. We just had too much to overcome.......and we didn't. Sure your going to get your money's worth at the base of the mountain next week. Good luck, Old Son. Kazzy
olddawg91
Logan Andrews blasted holes all night tonight (keep it up we loved it) this game was really dominated by the dogs Tellico had a few plays but mostly was going backwards! Great line play and great hard running, Ward did a good job but I believe the dogs are more dangerous with Price at Qb and Ward at wide out what do the rest of bulldog nation think on this subject? BDF36
Well the DAWGS pulled out another one, on to round 3. The O'Dell boy didnt impress me all that much not to take anything away from him or the team but he was def no back that could run whenever and how ever on us.Also no 30 point win for either but hard fought game. Hope every1 rest up and gets ready for ROCKWOOD. GO DAWGS 10-1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bigdawg3
This was a hard fought game for both teams. I thought both played good. I was told that some people from TP that over here in the EAST it was POWDER PUFF football. Well you were wrong. At HAMPTON there is no such thing as POWDER PUFF. I also heard that you were glad with your pick, coming to HAMPTON. Next time you might want to use your words a little more wisely. Odell is a pretty good player and TP is a tough team to beat. All in all, I want to say great job DAWGS you played good, just keep it rolling next week against Rockwood. I also thought that the changes that the coaches made were great changes. Logan Andrews look pretty dang good at the full back spot and had some great blocks. Dont get me wrong the whole team looked good, that was the only thing that stuck out more than anything. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and dont forget, "Play for the name on the front of the jersey not the name on the back"

I honestly think bret is a much better running back than qb also wards a really good passer but also great reciever. Its just really good to have 2 really good backs in the backfield with over a 1,000 yards plus lunceford knows what hes doin so i think theyre in the right spots.
