One of our seniors, #20, lost his father in a car wreck last night. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers during this extremely difficult time.

Really sorry to hear this.Every night I pray for the safety of my loved ones.I also pray for the safety of our youngsters,in football and in all of life.We never know the last time we'll see someone we love.I will include this young man in my prayers,God bless.......Polk county fan.

I wish the family comfort in their time of grief. It's obvious (knowing the CAK community) that the family will receive support and solace during the difficult days ahead. It won't be easy, but knowing that earthly death is not the end and that friends are there to help get them through the rough patches should be a great comfort.

#20 was at practice today, said it's what his Dad would want, being around the team helps him keep his mind off it. The entire team will attend the funeral.

I'm sure I speak for the CAK family when I say thank you for all of the kind posts. Although there are alot of things more important than football, I am so glad that his dad was there to see his interception in the first round and for Senior night. I got a chance to meet his Grandfather last week at the game and spent a few minutes with him. What a nice gentleman.

Prayers lifted for this young man and his family from Viking football in Montgomery County. Also thoughts are with the entire team...through the season the boys become family.
