Maybe if the rest of 8AA catches up, it will be worth talking about. Also, last time I checked, LA is in 8AA, so in an 8AA thread, I would think LA could be talked about. There is no reason you can't get on here and talking about your Cubs. Thanks for acknowledging me by the way.

No problem! Your a legend in this district! I agree LA deserves all they get, and I made that point known. I was just curious now after football to see how everybody is playing.

Couldn't tell you. Not a clue. Haven't seen them play, but I know what they have. Who knows? I know they'll be tough and extremely well coached. Should be another district crown. Been wrong before though. I'm no legend yet, give me a few years.

I guess everyone in 8AA but LA should go ahead and open their xmas presents and go on home. This is not the same District we seen last year! Don't be surprised with the play of all others. If LA is this good 3 weeks into the season I want to see them win the BIG ONE AT THE STATE!!!

The district will be more competitive than people think. The district will go through LA but the other teams have some good players. Dekalb has several seniors that play hard Cannon has a good team York has several seniors that have played ball together their whole lives. Smith has some talented players,and Upperman is always tough. LA still has some good players but they did lose some players that were a lot better than the ones they have now. So I don't beleive it will be a cake walk but I do believe there will be some battles.

Cannon beat Coffee Co 72-62 Monday night, plays in their own T'giving tourney against Gordonsville and Hume-Fogg. That's our update, what about everybody else. How are the rest of the teams doing?

looks like Cannon is doing well and I saw where Dekalb beat Warren by 20. LA beat Pickett by 20 playing without 2 starters and a recuperating point guard. LA is very young. Their schedule gets no easier as they make the trip west to play against Dyer County and Jackson Central Merry at Dyer County in their Thanksgiving Classic. What about York and Smith? And Upperman?

I see that Upperman beat Stone Memorial by 1, but thats their only score posted. How have there other games gone so far?

We played well against Gordonsville an Friday night and won 60-30. Saturday didn't go so well as we were shut down by Hume_Fogg and lost by 10. It sounded like we couldn't hit a shot. Everytime I turned around I heard that we were missing a shot. We're @ Warren County Tuesday night, which I can go to, so I know I'll bring em luck!

York lost its first 2 games They lost by 18 to Midway and by 20 at Bledsoe. This was without any of their starters they were all still playing football. They beat knoxville ambassadors Saturday by 15 with one of their seniors back. They will get their first test tonite against the Bobcats.
