i thought m'boro was in middle tenn so you will have to go through hancock to get there ;)

you lost at LMU in the region last year, i.e. "your place..." that means you'll be coming to milligan or wherever this year, i.e. "our place..." this is well in advance of anyone going to m'boro as you call it. so let me recap all this one more time. it goes district tournament first (you're in district 2, but a renowned expert on district 1), then regional (gonna be in our neck of the woods this year, which is EAST of you), then substate (way too complicated, you wouldn't understand), then m'boro (which is short for murfreesboro, not marlboro.)

and by the way, will you please come up with something else to call your next message besides "best team in a ball", i need some help separating one pearl of wisdom from another...

ok buddy keep on with the insulting thats just another log on the fire and believe me there is one heck of a fire down here in hancock county. and when regionals roll around and unaka happens to make it to the finals Milligan College will have to call the fire dept. to put unaka out. you better learn to stop drop and roll. :(

okay, you're getting there. that was semi-clever. perhaps you could get a live spot on channel 2 in between mr. rogers and masterpiece theater to keep us all posted on this raging fire.

I have to ditto whoever said that Temple will be tough to beat with Skogen and Wadley back. I think they will miss Jeron Williams, but they will be there in February and March. I also echo the info about the Skogen and Wadley brothers. They are all awesome. It is possible that the Crusaders could have a lineup on the floor at some point with nothing but Skogens and Wadleys! Please just don't let the dads play!

Do not make the mistake of overlooking Chattanooga Christian in the equation. They will have Tyler Fordice, Dallas Cole, Jonathon Cook and a surprise or two (they always do!) They always execute their offense very well and play hard every night. They could be in the mix by the end of the year.

Rockwood has the talent to win it all... Preston is one of the tops on the state...6'7 Thomas Davis is improving.... Harvest the Transfer from Oak Ridge is one of the best in A also... The tigers are deep and that will win ball games some tourney time... Paul Kamikawa has his players ready to play night after night... The region that there are in will also help them when it comes crucnh... This is the year of the tiger....The Rockwood Tigers

    • That was after the 2nd year of a 4 year cycle.  Since Covid we have been on a 2 year cycle.  So, there really isn't a "mid cycle" reclassification this time.   Idk if there's anything in place to address the issue of a school closing.  My guess is, nothing can be done.  This would be akin to the 1st year of a 4 year cycle, where a school has the 20% +/- but not allowed or even have the option to move up or down.
    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
