BCsportsfan
Lets not leave out Dalton Wheeler at the WR spot. He has good speed and good hands. I think this kid has a lot to add to the 2010 team. You are right........Wheeler is FAST!
REBELRON
The only question should be. 14-1 or 15-0? As long as Rankin is coaching at Alcoa the Tornadoes will keep winning state. Alcoa was already great before Rankin got there but he has elevated the program and brought discipline to Alcoa. Alcoa is a beast.

Govolsknox
Alcoa will win over Maryville again in 2010. I've been calling for the "upset" consistently for several years. Even though I'm about 1-4 on that prediction, I believe I'm on the comeback!
Speed2zone
QB- Tallent, Goodson will possibly see some playing time depending on how Tallents Wrist heals back. And how he plays on Defense. Goodson has a great Deep Ball but he Will have to Show out in Spring and Work hard in the Summer. FB- Tyson, Crenshaw will be in there if Tyson plays Defense. Or Warren. RB- Hambrick, Koko WR- Isom WR- Warfield, K.Dean will be a good step up from his Freshmen Year. Also Jordan F. is a good prospect for his Size and Speed TE- Mangum. Will Be Moved To Guard Most Likely. TE- Warren Much like Brandon was, D.Warren is a Strong Blocker and Can Catch. Would help pick up the Slack of Robinson leaveing since you will have Vee for Two more Seasons and Koko for Three OT- Manuel, Will have to Step his Physical Game Up to Become a Starter OG- Evans, Moved To Tackle most Likely OG- Mangum C- Rankin OG- Stephens, Rumored to Jump Ship his Sr. Year. OG-Loy, After an Impressive Freshmen Season, Loy could become a starter if he Hit the Weights HARD this Summer and picked up some Pounds. AND he has the coaches OT- Evans OT- Suddreth If Suddreths Pleas come threw from the Alt School Problem this year, Then he might possibly return. Other then That... Honestly its Open. But There is a New Linemen That Moved from Florida That Good Size, But no one has seen him play. DE- Warren DT- McGlothlin, S. Johnson would be in the mix some places depending on McGlothlin's Wrist Healing and if he did get moved to DE DT- Tate Derrick Evans will more then likely play both ways. DE- Henry, McGlothlin can be placed at end for his size and speed if Warren is on Offense. LB- Wheeler Moved Back To William Blount LB- Crenshaw LB- Chapman, Tyson LB- Koko DB- Isom DB- Tallent DB- Hambrick K- Castro The Wrap Up: Alot of spots have alot of players that could fill the roster. Witch is never a bad thing. The coaches have always said that Competition breeds Sucess. Or something to that effect. So this up coming Spring will clear the 2010 seasons picture up Alot. But as always I wish my Boys the best of luck and dont plan to miss a beat!

BCsportsfan
QB- Tallent FB- Tyson RB- Hambrick, Koko WR- Isom WR- Warfield TE- Mangum OT- Manuel OG- Evans C- Rankin OG- Stephens OT- ? DE- Warren DT- McGlothlin DT- Tate DE- Henry LB- Wheeler LB- Crenshaw LB- Chapman, Tyson LB- Koko DB- Isom DB- Tallent DB- Hambrick K- Castro Does anyone have an updated lineup? BCButter6
Does anyone have an updated lineup? Offense: QB: Tallant FB: Tyson TB: Hambrick WR: Isom WR: Warfield WR: Roy/Brown TE: Owenby? C: Rankin G: Evans G: Stephens? OT: Loy OT: Mangum Defense: DE: Warren DE: Henry DT: Tate/Johnson DT: McGlothlin MLB: Crenshaw SLB: Turbyfill WLB: Tyson/Koko DB: Isom DB: Lewis? DB: Hambrick DB: Tallant My guess is as good as anyone's on the line right now...we'll see when the pads come on next week Chapman has been moved to D-line as of spring practice, and that kid has gotten mean. Definite potential there...ready for another great season of Blount County football!

scots50
Here it is the current O-line rotation: TE: Owenby C: Rankin RG: Evans LG: Magnum LT: Stephens or Loy RT: Manuel Stone Memorial transfer Poe has very good potential and is working to find a home at tackle or guard. We will see how this starting point weathers a few scrimmages.
