One key for CPA is shooting percentage. Obion Central shot an impressive 60 percent in their win over Gibson Co. earlier this season. On the flip side, Gibson Co.'s three opponents at state last year averaged 36 percent from the field.

 

Another key, obviously, is how CPA handles the Lady Pioneer press. Gibson Co.'s three opponents at state last year had 31, 26 and 26 turnovers respectively.

Our defense here lately has been TOUGH. OC played the game of their lives against us in that game and they played mistake free resulting in them beating us by 13. Had they played like that all year, we'd be having this same discussion right here about them!

 

Someone said CPA was not a quick team. Our speed may give CPA some problems with the press. I promise you that this will be the toughest press CPA will see all year. I'm curious as to if there's another team in any classification that has a pretty press defense than ours, not trying to say that in a cocky way either. Also, if you break the front line of the press, don't think you've broke it completely.

You are right, i am VERY confident that our Chargerettes can come away with the gold ball. My prediction is we will be seeing MC and GC play for the Gold.

I've enjoyed this subject. The GC fans on here seemed to be class acts. I hope the game tomorrow is a good one and will be in Murfreesboro cheering on the Lions of CPA. Anyone else going to be there?
