btownbasketball
Let me first say that we all know that Memphis has dominate teams every year and a Memphis team brings home a gold ball every year. That being said sometimes you have to watch what you hope for. There was a poster on here about a month ago [ I'm not going to say his name he knows who he is ] that made the statement that the only reason Bolivar makes it to the Boro is because they don't have to go thru Memphis. Well the tssaa in there bid to end west TN. dominace decided to send BOLIVAR thru Memphis. The more things change the more they stay the same because Bolivar is still going to the BORO. Infact Liberty and Bolivar eraced Memphis from AA. So once again be careful of what you hope for, Trezevant and B.T. Washington ordered pussycats and pilgrims but they got Tigers and Crusaders. Trezevant complained all night, by the middle of the forth the coach was trying to argue with the crowd and the players were getting techs and committing flagrant fouls. They were definately sore losers. It looked like they could'nt believe that they were getting beat by little ol Bolivar. And I mean that physically also, Trezevant was taller that Bolivar by 3 inches at every position. With a new attitude and coach Trezevant could win it all. toinemac
Bolivar has been the best AA program the last 10 years 2 state titles 7 tourney appearances sub state every year. Other than Wes Henning I think we have the best coach in the state. As long as Rudiseill is on the sideline i cant see that changing
terop
That might have been a stupid comment. Bolivar and Liberty both have dipped into Memphis every year and played and beat the Memphis teams...Congrats on the win. Actually Sheffield and Manassas were clearly the best AA teams out of Memphis this year but they went down earlier. I knew Trezevant didn't have much of a chance against Bolivar, but I thought BTW would fair better playing at home...Maybe we can get a Liberty/Bolivar Classic for the championship. Yankee this kinds of reminds me of the year when Bolivar and Southside played about 5 or 6 times. They had a classic game at the state tourney also
firefulmer
GO Tigers!!! Keep it up now that you're on a roll! And...I've got to say those Crusaders aren't bad either!!!
toinemac
Its gonna be tough to have BC LT 5. The rest of the state is really catching up in AA. And Fulton is gonna have a say in who wins im sure

As long as Rudiseill is on the sideline i cant see that changing Rudesill wouldn't want to read this post...but he has to be one of Tennessee's best. The talent level can, and will, go up and down-as it does in all our public schools. But, he keeps Bolivar at, or very near, the top on a continuous basis. After all these years and his record...that should tell everyone what type of coach he is. But, you'd never know it at a game! Rarely does he even look aggravated or upset! But you KNOW he's bound to be!
Celticsfan
Congrats to both teams. Although I don't live in West Tennessee, I have known Arnett Bodenhammer for years and am very happy to see him get to the Boro. He had a lot of pressure stepping into this position, but he showed in his first year that he belongs and can do the job.
