wrestlingmama
Why does this forum keep deleting posts about the camp outside of Atlanta? Are we really that foolish that we think we need to keep our kids in Tennessee for them to get better?!?!?! Sending our kids to camps like this will do nothing but make the TN kids better! This is a great camp with great instructors and I'm sending my son! Here is the link: Unapproved Web Site.
ynotme
mama - I have no position as to the quaility or value of the camp, but why do you think the GA camp is superior to the many camps offered in TN? If you attend a TN camp, then the proceeds support TN programs. Why should a TN board open itself up as free advertising for non charitable events around the country? I'd bet the coacht would be happy to sell advertising to the GA camp if they're interested in paying for their advertising. Seems to me that the GA camp is the greedy one in that they want something for free that they should be paying for - advertising.
ghouse
The GA Elite Camp probably needs to read the board rules on advertising on CoachT. I would imagine that is what is occurring to the post. Some people need to learn not to over-react unless they have good cause.
wrestlingmama
I am sending my son to both a TN camp and GA camp....but when someone posts a question asking for suggestions on camps....and someone replies to that with an idea on a GA camp...its sad that it gets deleted. As far as advertising goes....many camps post the info on here. TN camps could go to a Ga board and do the same. Its just good marketing sense for them. I'm not saying any camp is better than another....I'm just saying that I believe all information should be able to be put out there....its your choice to choose which camp you are going to. Its dumb to even be arguing this topic, I know... it just rubbed me the wrong way, that's all!!!
HSDAD
I'm just saying that I believe all information should be able to be put out there....its your choice to choose which camp you are going to. You could start your own forum called Coachwrestlingmama? Then you can post whatever you want. This is CoachT and he can delete whatever he wants. CoachT
Lets see, where do I begin? You are posting from a Gwinnett County Public School ip address so you are not who you pretend to be so, yes, you are that greedy, among other things. You charge from $385 to $660 for overnight and $285 to $410 for day campers. Yes, you are that greedy. CoachT.com supports TN high school, TN college, and some TN AAU programs. Anyone else needs to pay the same amount you charge ONE attendee, in order to advertise. So, for $285 you can advertise your camp on this board. I have no doubt you run a quality camp. I run a quality web site. You charge for your quality camp and I charge for advertising on CoachT.com. /viewtopic.php?f=34&t=205952

wrestlingmama
No, in fact....I did not get teched!!! First of all, I am who I say I am. My original post did not come from my home computer.....but if you check....the rest of mine did!!! Second of all....no where on this site did it mention about costs for advertising until AFTER my original post. I know for a fact that if it was stated PRIOR to my posting...that GAELITE camps would've paid the advertising fee!!! They pay out thousands in advertising each year. And would never think of trying to get free advertisement when not allowed. And the better way to have went about it..instead of deleting twice without giving a reason....would be to delete it and contact the poster and explain that if he/she would like to advertise...that he/she would need to pay X amount!!! That way it would have been clear to both parties!
