Non-district, Marion 7-6 at Sequatchie today in front of the students. Sequatchie won at Marion in front of students earlier this season. Marion has had some impressive results lately and continued it. Strong-hitting line-up. They started out 4-0 early, increased it to 7-0. Sequatchie nearly battled all the way back, got it to 7-6 late and had two runners on but couldn't tie. Sequatchie has no time to dwell on the loss, plays at Meigs Friday weather permitting, fourth meeting of the year between these two.

I didn't know until I saw it in the box scores this morning, Bledsoe beat Grundy 4-0 Tuesday. Big win to get the regular season split.

According to the TFP, Grundy won 4-2. Looks like Grundy scored 2 in the top of the 9th to win...And they pitched out of bases loaded 1 out in the bottom of the 8th...must have been a quite a game.

Sequatchie got by Notre Dame Thursday and clinched the regular season title. Bledsoe and Grundy should be 2/3 or 3/2, I'm not sure if either is assured of 2 and the only difference would be home or visitor.

Bledsoe should be seated 2nd if you look at runs allowed. Either way they will play each other to start, it just matters which one is home. Of course, all could change if Grundy pulls out a win Tuesday against Sequatchie.

Sequatchie at Grundy for today cancelled, puts Sequatchie, Bledsoe, Grundy, CCS, Notre Dame in that order in the tournament.

When does this district start

Started last Thursday, in what looks like a good move with the weather maybe not cooperating this week for some tournaments. CCS over Notre Dame in a play-in. Friday, Bledsoe over Grundy, Sequatchie over CCS, Grundy and CCS into the losers' bracket. Saturday, Bledsoe by 1 over Sequatchie, scored 3 late to win. CCS upset Grundy, then Sequatchie got out to a big lead over CCS and held on to win by 3. Bledsoe and Sequatchie were scheduled for today, rainout, they are scheduled for tomorrow at 5, at Grundy. A second game, if needed, would also be tomorrow night depending on the conditions.
