you know it is pretty funny they said he was ineligable for the first 7 games but now all of a sudden he is able to play??sounds like sequatchie princple used his pull as a area rep for T$$AA to make sure they get to come in second in there district and can go to the playoffs!! go figure! Has anyone heard if bledsoe county girls softball was given 2 extra weeks down time and loseing 2 games of thier schedule this coming season??

It is strange I was looking at some of the teams info on TSSAA and the coach on record for Bledsoe is not the one that has been coaching them. Would that not make the coaches illegal with the bylaws of TSSAA.If this is true how have they made it this far.They should have been disqualified and the school should be finedfor not abiding by the rules

In reference to up and coming pitchers, I will throw out two: 1. Sydney Hooper, Freshman., Walker Valley 2. Lydia Ritchie, Freshman., Bledsoe County 3rdbasecoach how can you say that this ritchie girl is one of the best in the state I have seen her pitch in some summer ball tourn. she is at best average she is good when she goes against a below average team like her coach puts her up against But when she starts to play at the High School level she will get rocked when she starts going against 16,17 and 18 year old girls I have news for her coach back your defense up to the fences so they can get a better look at the ball as it goes over the fence

most summerball teams play till the end of july even some the first part of august so if you moved high school ball to the fall the summer teams would lose alot of there team if they play high school because they can not be on another roster while they are playing on a high school team that is one reason they need to keep things the way they are

3rdbasecoach knows all about this because Kiper talked to him to get his advice on what he should do and yes he likes the decision because he knows he could not out coach Greta but he can out coach the ritchie's.Also he knows that there are girls that will not play for them and would for Greta and they would have made a big difference in the team!!

She did not get out by choice the Ritchies and Kiper stabbed her in the back but I think it will come back and bite them somewhere

thats good to hear tynerfan99. that also goes to show that even some of the people on here have given up on this program it shows that the boys that play haven't . at least they are out there trying.and from what I have heard that this is a very young team.

You are right in some sense, there are some kids on this team that are very good athletes, BUT an athlete always doesn't make a team good. Sometimes they think they are "HOT STUFF" and don't want to play team ball they think it is all about them.That is part of the problem with this team.You talk about working on your sport in the off season. How many of this years team plays summer ball somewhere??(only 1 that I know of) So you can not tell me that you can pick up a basketball in late October or early November and be able to be a great ball player.So you can't say this is all the coaches fault.True the coach keeps to many kids that won't play in a game but tell me a team that doesn't have kids that are that way.(at bledsoe)

I find it hard to belive that he has scored all those points playing on varsity team are they counting the points he has scored playing in JV games if so that's not a true 1000. Marion County has not been that good the last few years

YOU are so wrong the coach at the middle school cares more about the kids then you think.The problem is the so called coaches from little blue think he sould listen to them on where their kids should play. And if he does not play them there then he is a terribble coach. I DON'T THINK SO. He prepares the kids alot more for the high football then you think. If the High School coaches would be willing to work with him it would probably help.

no we have played on worse. good win but I didn't see very many freshman or sophomore players get any snaps like some said would probably happen seems like some were over estimating stone

Most of these posters think stone is going to be an easy game because they still have thier mind thinking of the seasons that they had when these boys were in "little blue". But that was then this is now. Our boys better not go into this game thinking that it will be a cake walk. If they do they may be surprised. I hope our boys from bledsoe come home with a win.

what do you have against that one coach? Seems like he is trying to keep the boys pumped up during the game. he's the only one that met the smith boy on the field to congradulate him for the big fumble recovery in the game last night
