Farragut beat Flanagan 2-0 to claim the National Classic title!!! Pfiefer dominates, goes the distance: 7 IP, 4 H, 2 BB, 16 K's. Delmonico goes 1-2 with a two out, two strike 2 RBI double for the only runs of the game.

 

Overall, Farragut goes 6-0 in Orlando outscoring their opponents 60-4. Not a bad week's work.

Pfeifer was dominating that game. I don't want to say he let up in the 7th, but they did get a hit and a walk with 2 outs. Then he struck the next guy out, but still. I was surprised to see that because in the 6th he struck out the side in 12 pitches. He was definitely in a groove at that point.

 

Flanagan's only other loss this season was to American Heritage, FL, 1-0. who is ranked 14th according to ESPNrise.

How was the team you guys played against in Orlando or did you guys just hit and pitch good? Why didn't he want to pitch Pfiefer when we played you guys in the Blaze tournament ?
