does anyone out there think it is ethical for an opposing teams coaching staff to show up at an opponents scrimmage unannounced and un invited

Really? It is ethical as long as they dont film. It is how the game works. i would I magine Signals staff will Scout Hixson's Scrimmages if they can.

If it is open to the public and no film is involved it is perfectly ethical and it happens all the time in the summer. I do not think a coach should scout a practice but if it involves two teams or more and is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC no one can or should complain. The same thing applies to 7-on-7 events.

...Nothing wrong with being present(and taking notes/mental or pencil)...a team must try to stop what you do with what they do...it's a big difference being on paper and in reality!!!

I don't see a problem with it & look at it this way if they charge a gate to get in then your rival team just bought someone a mouth piece next season :roflolk::roflol::roflolk:
