Is it just me, or is anyone else having trouble getting into the message boards on a Blackberry? I was able to get in just a few days ago, but here lately all I'm getting is a "Connection Timed Out" error. I'm able to open the other links, The Big Ones, Schedules, etc. All my browser settings are checked on. Just wondering if the link is too big to open now, or if my phone is just a p-o-s.

 

This site is pretty much the reason I got a BB. If I can't get in...out with the old, in with the Droid. Thanks for any help.

The only thing I can think for you to try is to disable the extra options like Javascript and style sheet support and see if it's not being caused by any "supporting" files your phone is trying to load.

 

Most of the time, a time out error is a problem on the client end where the browser loses the connection (ot thinks it has lost the connection) with the server. It's more common with wireless connections and reported to the user differently depending on the browser.

I went to Options -> Browser Config. -> Browser Identification, and changed it from Blackberry to Internet Explorer (you may get a warning about some web pages not functioning correctly). If this doesn't get you into the boards, play around with the JavaScripts, but I'm thinking the Browser Identification may be our problem....at least it was for me. I don't think the "column" or "page" view really matters.

I'm posting this msg from mine right now ..with no problems ..and I posted several post friday night at the game with it.. Try using Bolt browser from the app world ..best and fastest browser by far for the BB phone.

      From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated

      Plenty of time. The former coach was busy with family and disappeared all summer anyway. Obvious choice has the same family issues. First game is in March 2025.
