You certainly got us on that one. The air conditioned practices do help. Having our hour & a half practices in the heat could get sweaty. I also like the way the boys only practice in shorts all week. It cuts down on the chance of injures. Our bobcat is named Mr. Bigglesworth & Austin Powers provides us with the secret weapons we have. One is on Wednesday & Thursdays the boys have yoga sessions with Big Joe. It has a calming effect that keeps them from being violent. :flower:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just pictured BIG JOE doing yoga thats :roflol: funny. I would pay BIG $$$$$$ to see that. On the other hand good luck to Giles Friday, keep the bell.

Good report Wade.Good job Friday Night!Giles co. keeps the bell.Too bad about your Wolverines!

Michigan will be back. Giles County was down a bit early in the 2000s, too and I'd say they rebounded nicely. :)

Thanks for the kind words. We were blessed to call an absolute whale of a first ballgame at the Brickyard. If the Cowbell game is anywhere near as exciting, we'll have another dandy on our hands.

REMINDER: This Friday's game is broadcast on 98.3FM. Unless you're in Pulaski, easiest way to tune in is to log onto WKSR.com and click 'LISTEN NOW' and follow the link to the FM.

Lets break down Billy Joe Jim Bob here.

Never seen a OC coached team quit until the final buzzer. You'l need 4 quarters. For sure.

Last season must have gotten you paranoid. You seem to think everyone is an imposter pigeon now. Also it isn't actually one bell, it's three in one case. Have you never seen it before?

In all seriousness, I think this is going to be a tough fought game on both sides. Score will be close when the time runs out.

There you go....that didn't take but a few minutes for us to discover something we can agree on.

Wasn't Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers movies from Hungary....maybe there is a connection

It never really says where Dr. Evil was from, but according to Goldmember his father was from Belgium and his mother was a french prostitute. Maybe that will clear things up?

Making fun or having fun 8 Triple A? Just give us a little time. Its early in the season and we are not in mid season form yet. Pretty soon you can bet we'll start bashing each other. Like, 5X needs a haircut bad. Rocky needs a Ford. LMSS needs a chainsaw to shave the legs. Mikey needs sunglasses after coming over from the dark side. Hawse & fortheboys needs to smack us down when we get too rowdy. We have plenty that are AWOL right now but they'll be here as soon as we come up short on the scoreboard. Which may be Friday night. L'burg is tough. Just one question. Does L'burgs field run north to south or south to north? We sorta like to run downhill so we need to know. :?

It is a lot brighter over here :ugeek:

Technically by visual standards you are correct Mikey. However, it is one game and thus is referred to as the cowbell game. Kudo's to you for being correct though. I have seen it and actually held it after a win. On the fields. (as in more than once) Well over 35 years ago :D

I know who's who & who's new & who walks behind the manure wagon. It will be a close one. All season long. ;)

I absolutely agree!! I feel as if LCHS will bring home the bell this year but until this happens just lay low and let your talking be heard loud and clear Friday night!

Now where is the fun in waiting to see how the game turns out and then talk about it. This is a forum for all us grandstand coaches and cant play no more players to tell it like its gonna be, and then maybe have to eat a little crow( taste good doesnt it mickey). Its all in fun, so have a little, but be realistic, LCHS may win but not by a bunch unless you get to have more than 11 on the field and Im not talking about the zebras. I look for a good game and if it was basketball I would give you the edge with Garland, but our football coach knows how to adjust to a player that is killing you. DOOLEY where you at, I got your board. GO BOBCATS!!!

Not to focus on Dr. Evil, but in the end he and Austin are brothers. But Dr Evil was taken and raised by an evil Hungarian couple. After the car explosion of course.

    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
    • Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
    • Facts...until someone takes down the Rebels they should be the favorite. Got loads of young guys salivating at the opportunity to prove themselves and get a 3peat! Blazer how is Region 1 looking this year?
