I'll take the Chiefs in this one.

 

dumdum, It seems that Seq. should be better than they are. Your youth programs have be pretty good at Madisonville with some good size from Vonore. What happens? Do a lot of the kids not play when they get to high school? I am by no means knocking your program, for I want to see success from all area teams. It just seems they should be a little better than they are.

Hey Logcabinman, things are coming along with the freshmen (20 on roster) this year, we actually have a few sophmores who start on varsity. I think some folks really read that Scott County score in a bad way. Scott County is a good team, a bad whistle and fumble and its a different score, not saying we would have won, but the game was closer than one thinks. I left the field knowing that our offense can move the ball and beleive it or not we look nothing like last season, big improvement and hopefully we will show it Friday night. GO CHIEFS!!!

How is Odell's health?

 

 

 

He's healthy. the only problem he had last week was cramps. Tellico suffered the same thing against sweetwater. O'dells "fumble" on the 5 was very questionable, even when the ref said he couldn't see the ball. Like Sequoyah, if that bad call hadn't have happened, Tellico would have been in it, "different game, different score". This should be a good one with both being as young as they are.

Sounds like district should stregnthen quite a bit in the next couple of years.
