There is some accuracy in what you say. I re\ad the entire scout.com thread. I would characterize the MS response as: we were't prepared, we were down, we need Pete Cordelli (defensive coordinator?)back fast, we played Cocoa FL close and they just beat Abilene TX so how did we get clobbered by BA.... I didn't see much respect for BA.

I will never understand those who denigrate the teams that beat them. It just further demeans your own team.

The poor losers also showed a lot of class. after the game the players piled their underwear in the shower and urinated on them. and they wiped "unidentifiable materials" on the walls. if you think im joking, call the athletic department.

also i have been reading the posts on the mississippi boards and so far they sound like a bunch of whining losers. they say they werent prepared. that BA just got lucky. part of being a good team is in preparation and if they thought they could treat us like an inferior oppenent then they dont know much about football. My son starts on the team, and he wont play any college ball. but he and his friends physically dominated them literally up and down the field. if they are the athletes they say they are, then there should have been a moment where game plan goes out the window and they realize they need to stand and fight. if you lost by 7, sure you can say you were ill prepared. even if you lost by 14, you might have some excuse. but you lost by 32...actually 39 with the starters in. dont kid yourselves in any way that you are a better team.

im sorry if i come across angry...i am

Agreed, was at the game, and it was just a dominating performance by BA. Started on the first snap and ended on the last snap. Predict this ends the series with OB after the classy exit!

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
