Hey Grunt: You know exactly why no ink for Gville and TC - the schools are not located in Metro Nashville. The best two teams in their classification in TN and can't get any recogination. If either/both were in Nashville, the sports section would be full about each team. Now let it be MBA, BA, CPA and so on, you can't read enough about them. Good luck to both teams sthe rest of the year.

The Herald-Citizen doesn't even have anything on their website, while tey have something about every other UC team.

Gordonsville will roll in this one. Monterey has two very good inside linebackers, but they won't be enough to stop Gville's huge o-line, Woodmore, and Smith. Gordonsville 42 Monterey 7.

You're absolutely right! I've been griping about this for years, to no avail, of course. As Croz

mentioned earlier, they did have a mention of the game earlier in the week...one writer giving

his prediction of a score. After the game, Sat. AM...ZILCH! Not really shocked the Tennessean

gave no coverage, but the Lebanon Democrat usually has a good write up. This time zero.

Two top ranked teams going head to head, two point difference in the score, classic barn burner.

What else could it take for a few paragraphs?

Who knows, economy bad, can't afford the extra ink? LOL Heck with 'em, play ball! Good luck

To be honest, I wonder if there would've been a writeup if Gville would've pulled off the upset. Everyone was picking TC to win. Maybe that would've got some pub. I don't know.

baxter makes most everyone look good.bth who is scared,rbs. scary is when they get popped a few times. not this year, teams had their chances the past couple years. the window has been slammed shut.tigers big in this one. we will see how scary they are.
