Franklin beat a poor Ootelwah team last week and will have their hands full with the Burros. Other than Brentwood, williamson co. football is down this year. (Fairview - i don't consider them a real contender - won't make it past 2nd round) Good luck to the Burros.

Did you see Page beat Giles Co. last night? Agree about Williamson County being down. If the Bwood Rwood game is close tonight, I would say it is really down.

:roflol: Hands full until kickoff. :roflol:

Rebels starting to roll and play as a team. I think Matt throws 3 td pass tonight and the Rebel offense explodes. The Rebel D will dominate as they have all year long.

Very tough game to watch, the Rebels really took a step down offensively after a strong showing last week. The only real bright spot offensively was Lane Hostettler, who rushed for 105 yrds and a td. The Franklin defense, however, looked dominate Friday night. They continued to step up after consistently getting thrown out there after turnovers. Brian Davis had a long interception returned for a touchdown, Jimmy Fletcher had 5 sacks, Brandon Spierto had an interception for the second straight game, and the D-Line was dominant all night led by Folks and Stevens. The only touchdown let up by Franklin was by the offense, a fumble returned for a touchdown. I believe the Rebel offense will start clicking soon, and combined with that defense they will be a strong team come playoffs. Hopefully our boys will keep the winning streak going next week. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Hilsboro quarterback who was injured.

any news on the QB from Hillsboro....thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family from the greenwave fatefull...

#15 has a pinched nerve and should be fine. Our offensive coordinator is bush league and blames the kids for his ineptness though. Can't call plays or make adjustments to defenses. Needs to coach middle school.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
