My information on Blade is what he said last Thursday. I can't read his mind only take him for his word.

 

#27 is our safety, not the same guy that covered 6 last year. That was Johnny Vann he graduated

 

We do get back senior Sam Bingham this week, senior pass rush specialist. He's been cleared to play for the first time this year. He will help us get some pressure without blitzing.

Thanks for the info. Just hoping the coach sticks it out for the players. Unfortunate to hear that the Gregg kid will not be returning, but I hope the young man makes a full recovery. Such a 1-in-a-million freak accident. Friday's game should be a good match-up.

Agree that it'll be hard hitting. AC is going to have to step up and play and little more smash-mouthed than we've been known for the last couple of years. Looks like most everyone is healthy so I like our chances.

Oak Ridge gets a well-earned victory, 17-14. Great job defense for pitching the second half shut-out. We did a great job of controlling the clock even though we had too many trips to the red zone without a score. This victory keeps us alive for the playoffs.

After seeing the way Powell shut down the AC passing attack, I figured it wouldn't be the last time a good defense slowed the Mavericks high-octane passing offense. Kudos Wildcats!
