Whatever the score is, it's got to be a better game that the "Mud Bowl" last year!! I do have to stick with my Lions. I predeict 48-7 but the seven coming in around the end of the third. I love that the coaches are putting just about everyone on the roster in to get some reps. That will help those younger players more that anything. Way to go so far this year Lions, stay focused, overlook no one, keep your eye on the prize, don't get selfish as the attention increases, never sacrafice "team" for "self". When you put team first-you will get the glory-along with everyone else who got you there! Can't wait to see how far we can roll. Good luck Friday night!

Well...let's see....so far Arrogance 68-0.....in favor of Camden.

It's been a while but a west Tn team????? talking blowout and playing subs.....you don't show any respect for other teams..

How deep has Camden ever been in football playoffs?.....based on actual records...not arrogant mouthing.

Seems everyone gets distracted and pushed reply too soon. Must have been the face that Milan is not undefeated this year. Listen, no one has to be mean about this just because of a loss to westview. It happens. Milan has for several years dominated, especially when they have home field advantage. Well Westview had that advantage this year. Get over it. Camden faces those situations often since being in the district we are in. Camden has a well coached, efficent, disiplined team. Look for us in the payoffs. They will come through Camden. No more crying OK.

True, bulldog 69 is a Page/Williamson Co poster who took exception when a Camden poster wandered over to the Fairview/Giles Co thread and spouted off about Fairview for whatever reason. Just a little payback folks...nothing to get excited about. Don't blame Milan for this one.

You're implying that we care about your team.

The Cubs are excited about playing a Top 5 caliber football team this week. The Cubs are 4-3 on the season (a field goal made + a field goal blocked away from being 6-1..........but hey THAT IS LIFE!).

Each and every week I am more and more impressed with the teams I see the Cubs play......

In the preseason the Cubs battled Fairview (6-1), David Lipscomb (5-2), and Jo Byrns (7-0). In the regular season the Cubs have squared off against Smith County (7-1), Greenbrier (6-2), Stewart County (4-3), and Montgomery Central (4-3).

This week presents the greatest challenge of all when the Cubs battle Camden Central (8-0). Coach Ward has done a great job turning the Lions into a power. This season's team may possibly be his best yet in "Lion Country". The Lions have already beaten fellow West-TN forces McKenzie & Martin-Westview (as well as Huntingdon & Hollow Rock-Bruceton). They blanked both Harpeth & Montgomery Central and had their way with Stewart County & Waverly Central. In their 4 district wins the combined score is 164-21.

The Cubs, no doubt, have their work cut out for them and will have to bring their A-GAME in order to give themselves a chance late in this one.

HERE'S TO PRAYING FOR DRY WEATHER BECAUSE LAST YEAR'S GAME BETWEEN THESE 2 TEAMS WAS PLAYED IN WHAT COULD ONLY BE DESCRIBED AS A "HOG PEN" :thumb:
