Gallatin 6-3 vs Hendersonville 7-2

Week 9 playoff standings were just released, and they are quite a bit different from week 8, at least for quad 3 in 5A. Henry County is back in from quad 4, replacing Lawrence County who goes to quad 4. Columbia and Shelbyville shifts to quad 2. Clarksville and West Creek are newcomers. Gallatin is projected as the 5 seed, while Hendersonville is the 4, so they would play again in week 11 as it stands right now. It would appear that not only are they playing this week for a 1st or 2nd place finish in District 9, but also for a 1st round home playoff game. Of course, as drastically as things changed from week 8 to 9, it could and probably will be juggled as much after week 10. We will see!

So Gallatin could catch Hendersonville or Beech in the first round with a win or a loss. Crazy senario!!

 

Gallatin needs a victory and Mt Juliet needs some revenge on the Bucs.

This should be a great game. For Gallatin to win, they must spread the field and be able to throw the ball. The Hendersonville DL is phenomenal...

This is going to be a tough battle for both teams but in my opinion Hendersonville is the superior team. They are led by a veteran group of seniors who were in the same position as sophomores. They know what it takes in practice all week to get it done Friday in order to come out near the top of the region standings.

Ill take my crow and eat it. Great game played for both teams and in the end Gallatin got the W.

Two missed FG's, a missed XP, and a missed two point conversion cost the commandos. Also after a big TD with ten seconds left in the half Gallatin returned the squib kickoff for a TD.
