The funny thing is when Unaka starts having some success, they turn into a bunch of savages. :lol: It winds up being there undoing. You don't have to worry about them winning too many games unless its during the boring period of spring. :roflol: Cloudland and Hampton are loaded in basketball so beating the tar out of the creekers is becoming all too habit forming.

Only when your program is the laughing stock of the state allows someone to say Baseball or Softball don't matter.I bet you can't argue that to those kids who love it and put in the money, effort and time to suceed. It is the ones who fail say that! :roflol: I thing Psychologist refer to that as a defense mechanism.I bet you don't understand that explination! :roflolk:

I love both baseball and softball, it take alot of skill and hard work to be successful, My oldest was lucky to get to play for Hamptons Jr High last season. Cloudland puts nothing into the program and its a shame. Its just a bailout to take a shot at someone because they work at things and get good at it.

No one said the refs cheated just that they refused to call illegal tugging of the johnson, which led to a lot of frustrated Eagles.

Are you referring to the reputation of Cocke County or the reputation of the KIDS at COSBY! Just look at how respectful Cloudland and Hampton both are to the game. It sure wouldn't be fair to lump them in with the dirty bunch at Unaka because they are within the same county! Unaka is DIRTY! Pure and simple. They always have been, and they are worse when they are good. I remember several years ago up there for a scrimmage a coach punched one of our kids!!! Turned out not so good for him though! (And Yes, you were better than us this year and last.) Your coach said in your local paper that you guys had to put up with that last year at our place... What a joke! You brought that stuff you were puttin up with to our place. I will say you had some fans who were very polite and knowledgeable sports fans. (Not the majority though!) I will also say some of our fans embarassed me, but... (and this is the main point) UNAKA IS DIRTY!!!!!!!

      Yeah they both should be good games whoever matches up with who. Wartburg has beaten Oliver Springs all 4 times they’ve played this year but they have been close games. I believe Wartburgs first sectional appearance was last year when they went to North Greene. Good luck to you all!

      What did they do this year? Every other year, I’ve gone to one. It’s been a little scrimmage and then a bunch of games like a quarterback throwing challenge, O line versus D line, push-up challenge, etc.    But not surprised, nothing new that the program has been on the decline since they lost their recruiting middle school coach. The baseball coach still does his fair share, but he recruits good baseball players. Not good football players, and decent baseball players, definitely nothing like the middle school coach could do, he left for a middle school job down near Cleveland high school a few years back.

      Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.

      We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
