Congrats to the Mustangs for a tough victory.

Congrats to Macon Co. for giving DL a run for their money, and almost pulling off the victory.

Couple of questions emerge from tonight's game:

1. Can DL go on the road to pull off another W against Giles Co.? That's why we play the game.

2. How will Macon Co. perform for Coach P for year 2? Looks good for the Tigers right now.

3. Will the Lipscomb stadium crew be able to remove the stench from the visitor bleachers from tonight's game? Doubtful.

i think it's awesome you went to game and sat on the macon side. even cooler that you brought your mom. :thumb: tough loss macon, good things are down the road. congrats dl, good luck next week.

Really? That's the worst putdown on here, by far. I don't see how you were voted #1 trash talker with lame comments like your last one, but every1 knows all of your relatives from Macon are taking up for you.

Back to the topic of this thread, DL will have to play their best game of the season if they want to beat Giles on the road. Could be a long night for the Mustangs, but best of luck to DL.

What a fantastic game to see. A great venue at DL, very cozy, nice field and very gracious hosts. A great place to be on a Friday night. (could use a few extra seats on the visitors side though) Both teams played hard. A very competitive contest, but too many turnovers just did us in...that same old chestnut. The Tigers showed great heart not letting those setbacks get them down. The Mustangs played good ole DL football and didn't beat themselves made some good plays and cashed in on a few of those turnovers. That cost us a little too much. I'll credit that to their playoff experience and the continuity of their program. Good luck to the Mustangs the rest of the way. We're very proud of you Tigers. The defense really played a great game tonight. Great fan support tonight from the crowd who also wouldn't give up. Thanks to all of you posters out there in Coach T land for the support this week also. It certainly feels good to play in week 10. Stay hungry Tigers...work hard in this off season and let's do it again!

I wait in great anticipation for another post filled with smiley faces...wondering which one he will use this time.

I'm not the biggest trash talker on here...nor do I care if I am voted #1 on here. That's something I could care less about...unlike you. I would say being voted as the biggest trash talker on the 3A board is the biggest accomplishment of your life.

Sense you seem to know so much about lipscomb, You should know better than to make a stupid projection like this. MC has no chance in this game. Book it dano. It is obvious you are from East tn

I was not making a projection. I was responding to the guy who made the projection and said he had never missed one. And I am not from east TN I am from Macon originally and live in Smith now.

      And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…

      Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.

      Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
