This should be a great game! I believe Farragut will win 24-14.

This should be one of the better games in East TN. Will be hard-fought and probably be decided by one score, Farragut prevails.

Farragut is so banged up I'm not sure how they'll be able to match up. I don't know a thing about Sevier Co. but they won't have to have too much to be better than Farragut on paper. Heard Farragut has pulled up some select Freshman, now that their season is over, to bolster the roster. The one thing you can say about Farragut is they are battle tested with the schedule they've played. Defense should get a little boost from the added Freshmen, don't know if they'll get any help on offense, which they desparately need. RB Jackson Fain looked like he got a little banged up against WB, luckily he was ok enough to come back in later in the game. Anyone know his statis? Farragut RB's have really taken it on the chin this season.

i was at the riverdale game saw them rush for 500 yards with the same offense db runs and their qb was not a threat to run my money on sevier county

Give us some info on SCHS. What offense and defense are we going to see? who are their best players.

Sevier County definetly has the tools to pull off a victory vs. farragut. They are playing at home on the hump which is an advantage. This game comes down to which danny chastain shows up for sevier county. Will it be the one who played vs. jeff county or the one who played against mo. west. But if he will show up and the SC players can get over the name on the other teams jersey i see them coming out with a victory on friday. My prediction is 31-24 SC.

Sevier County runs a 4 wide offense and a 4-3 defense. The offense is started by their QB Danny Chastain. He is very good athlete and has proven to beat teams with his legs and his arm. Very shifty also. His favorite recievers are Bryant Gilson, Dillon Cate, and Brett Pippin. They catch most everything that comes there way and they make plays. The O-line has been the biggest ? the whole year with starting two sophomores. They have proven themselves the last couple of weeks. There running backs are Dakota Cogdill and Bubba Floyd. Both run hard. They dont have break away speed but both are averging over 5 yards a carry.

 

There D is where they rely. The Sevier County Defense starts up front with TJ Hamilton, Ronnie Homerding, Jake Reppert, and John Berry, all are athletes and they all make plays. Easily the best D front i have seen all year long. The linebacker corp has been hit by the injury bug but they have one familar face with 3yr starter Dakota Cogdill. He is the leader of the LB's. He's accompanied by Zac Lewis who has shown improvement as well as Floyd. and Dillon Cate who has stepped up in the role of playing LB. The corners have been shut down when the QB has time to throw it. Josh Johnson leads Prepxtra with 5 INTS and Brett Pippin is the best athlete on the team. The safeties are Tyler Wischer and Bryant Gilson. they just do whats asked of them. Mark Packer said on their TV game the defense lays the wood and thats something they pride themselves on. They try to be the best defense around.

If your expecting the defense of Sevier County to win this game you are sadly mistaken. Without Mason out who was the heart of your defense its not the same and the players you are putting in to replace him are mediocre at best. For sevier county to win this game they need to protect the ball and put it in the end zone if the offense has one of their bad nights call it curtains early for SC. Because if you think for a minute the defense can stop farragut's running game you need to wake up.
