I'm taking Craigmont here. Big(more like huge) up front and surrounded with talented skill players. They are young in spots. Craigmont by multiple scores.

Craigmont is good, but Dyer County is much better than their 5-5 record indicates. I say Craigmont by one score. I think this game will be closer than many would think.

DC has a lot of talent. They have played will in spots but also played very bad in some games. They have been out coached in almost ever game. Playing players in the wrong spots. Not adjusting on offense to their stengths. The tailback is their best player, but does not get enough touches. If Craigmont has good coaches they will win easily. If not, it could be close.

Dont know enough about DC to call it. Any info on rumor of Craigmont being investigated for illegal players? Heard Bolton, Millington, filed complaints and DC was notified of it?

I have seen a few people put something about this on here, so I called some folks I know and asked about it. Apparently a couple teams claimed that a kid (I believe they said his number is either 26 or 27) who moved from Millington should be ineligible. Someone from the TSSAA has already determined that the kid IS ELIGIBLE. So apparently it is not an investigation since a ruling has already been made.....twice.

DC plays with heart and intenisty..no doubt team that shows up for Choctaws depends solely on coaches decisions ..entirely too much talent on DC to have coaches beating you.

Apparently a couple teams claimed that a kid (I believe they said his number is either 26 or 27) who moved from Millington should be ineligible. Someone from the TSSAA has already determined that the kid IS ELIGIBLE. So apparently it is not an investigation since a ruling has already been made.....twice.

 

I dont beleive the kid is eligible. He is using an address where he did not live and staying with someone who is not his custodial parent. TSSAA did not come down here to verify anything. Just because proper paperwork is in doesnt mean they live where or with whom they say.

This thread is about Craigmont and Dyer co playing tonight for a chance to move on in the playoffs, not about illegal players. I think I have been reading for years from you Millington fans about the Chiefs over there stealing your players. Have they been in trouble about this? No. I am pretty sure the staff over there doesn't need any former Trojans to win ball games. Let's try and stay on topic please!!

The way Craigmont is playing football right now, it's going to be very difficult for any team to beat them. Dyer county is a solid team with good players, but they simply don't match up well against the Chiefs. If the Chiefs have their football heads on, it's a 3 score difference in their favor. If they make mistakes, they could end up on the wrong end of the scoreboard...
