It's hard to beat a good team twice but, take care of business with Riverside and we'll go from there. Don't guess the Rebels are ready to hang up the cleats just yet either. And we are BOTH better teams than when we played the first time. The Rebels are a lot better the last 2-3 weeks.

Where do ya'll play them? Recent tradition between us and Riverside has it that it's harder for us to beat them here than at Parsons. There was a 4-5 year stretch that we beat them there and they beat us here. Strange. One things certain, if you are doing video or radio at Riverside you'll have a great place to do it from if nothing has changed. Take your own heater if it's cold though.

true...its very difficult...we play them there and we played them there in the reg. season too...u gotta give us the secret to stoping the double wing lol yall seem to do a great job at defending it even last year when yall played huntingdon and kennon holder plus riverside in the playoffs...any advice?? and i'm sure its gonna be cold so imma bring my hand warmers, some coffee, toboggan, jacket, sweater, thermals,...u name it i'm bringin it...being from hawaii i'm not much of a fan of cold weather lol

Disciplined Defense....If Ya Job Is To Hit The Guard Nail His Arse...Forget The Ball Carrier...Do Your Job And Then Look For Someone Else To Hit.. Alot Of Times When Lineman Engage They Are trying To Look Past Their Man For The Ball Carrier...Nail Your Man And Then Look For Something Else...Make Sure Your Guy Doesn't Help The Play.

Well Around Here We Call That The V&T....But Rumor Has It, It Closed From Poor Management.... :roflolk: He Was Trying To Run It By Hand....Just Was Overwhelmed :roflol:

Now Butchie, just b/c you couldn't fix the piping in the building doesn't mean you have to blame others! I thought old penny loafer Wannab was the new manager and JJ was the talent scout.

    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
    • What is the hold up here? I have not heard anything in weeks. Are they waiting for the right person or is something else going on?
    • Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?
    • Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach
    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
