Congrats to Elizabethton and Alcoa on making it to the semis again, Its never an easy road getting this far.

 

But I must say, the smart comment that was made is not a good way to start a thread. So when the Alcoa fans get started on here, please remember who threw the first punch

I should keep my mouth shut I know but I think Taco Bell has given my butt a bigger wind storm then the "Mighty" Cyclones will bring to Goddard Field next week.

Same results from last year,but maybe worse.Betsy did not impress me at all last year and I think they are worse this year.Look for the mercy rule to come early this year.Alcoa did not play very well against cak on offense,but all but shut down their high powered offence with a very good defense.I predict around 42 to zip kinda game.Wonder if betsy gonna try that little dance number like they did with AE last year that would be classic and a sure fire way to get themselves smoked.I will be making my plans for Cookville tomorrow morning .You have 0 chance of wining this game betsy.

I think EHS will score at least 7. Either way I predict a blowout but I don't think it will be a shutout. We did score quick on Greeneville and that will be the only way to score anything is to make it quick and pray we are lucky. There is no such thing as 0 chance. If things were that certain than having playoffs wouldn't matter and Alcoa would get an automatic gold ball every year

 

Yeah, I did draw first blood but if you read any of the Elizabethton playoff threads you will see a number of Alcoa faithful running their mouths about a game that hasn't happened yet..UNPROVOKED. Looking at you F5SeekShelter. On top of that we all know the outcome so them beating it into our heads in every thread will piss anyone off.

Betsy has a solid team. They play disciplined, mistake-free football and run the football fairly well. That being said, they are going to have to make major defensive adjustments this week to keep this game respectable.

 

GP ran the ball at will on their 3-4. They seemed to especially have trouble with GP's biggest back who is in the 6'2" 210 range. He probably had 75 or 80 yards after contact. Betsy just couldn't bring him down. I would imagine that Warren and Tyson would present the same problem for them, not to mention that Alcoa's line is substantially larger than GP's.

Thats one thing I have noted in previous threads. If there is 1 main weakness it is that we have trouble stopping big RBs

 

And they might as well play the game..the gate money for Alcoa should be decent as Elizabethton travels well.

I will say Im going to miss hearing Bon Jovi before the game like last year at Elizabethton. Sadly we cant treat you all to the same as we play some God awful rap music that 80% of the fan base cant stand listening to. It also sounds like some crap that was recorded in $5 booth at West Town Mall.
