Idiots like you called them out for not playing with the big boys..They murdered riverdale in the playoffs and made it to the final they first year??? <_<

Once again thats Mr Idiot to all of you in the Eastern part of this Great State of Tennessee.

Boy for a bunch of folks who come from class programs you sure do a lot of name calling.

By the way Riverdale was the Number 4 team in District 7AAA.

Brentwood should have finished 4th in our district they lost to the same 3 teams that Riverdale did and won their District only to get an 8 seed in the playoffs and play us in the 1st round.

But I digress, is your coach staying there, rumor in Williamson County is he is coming back to Middle Tennessee. The Ravenwood job is open.

Grammar lessons are nice too , thanks Sean , lord knows us Murvul boys can use the help , but details about your football team would be nice too .... no more rankings though , I believe every Maryville fan knows all the rankings now . :roflol:

Smyrna D. is fast faster than when we won state while i was there. Wish i had video i could show you. lets say its hard for the fastest rbs in the state to get yardage on them...Secondary is my one fear about our d. but they seemed to really step up last week so should be good there now....Our QB has a good arm but is just as dangerous running...was the leading rusher last week....If he or Bryson isnt running it down the field..expect Flemming or Keyce (sp) to be running it.

There's quite a few videos on youtube of Smyrna playing this year that I've already watched , Bryson looks great and your defense looks very , very fast . Which player was it that hurt his hand , is he going to be able to play? We had one of our key players get hurt this last game , Jacob West ... we're all hoping he'll be able to play , great young man . Would be nice if both teams are at full strength .

Well we've had posters give you specifics on our team and even how to beat us , you could return the favor ... it'd be nice to hear details about the Smyrna football team instead of waist measurements and how much Bulldawg Bundy bench presses . :thumb:

Details details

The Bulldogs have a 1000 yd rusher #5 at tailback (Missed alot of action week 3 of the playoffs due to ankle sprain) His backup (a senior) rushed for 137 the night he was out. The Third TB just as fast and a Jr.

QB is a dual threat. Good feet and vision downfield.

Recievers to many to name.

Defense is Big and Fast

#56 Nate Smith 6'2 350 at Tackle

#77 Cruz Blanke just a Dang Big Ole Boy

Defensive ends Fast and Tackle well

#45 Deon Meadows LB lost for the season due to hand surgery

replacement is # 21 Jr Demarcus St. Cloud.

The outside linebackers are as fast as you have seen all season.

# 5 plays free safety ( Committed to Pitt )

I am sure I left something out. But you get the picture. I hope

Deon Meadows. Season ending injury had to have surgery on his hand..played hurt against blackman but that was his last game. Still strong motivational support for the hit squad....and really? I've found one video from this year ill have to relook.

what position was your player?

Not expecting #45 Deon Meadows to play. Tore a tendon in his finger in the Mt Juliet game and had to have surgery the monday after the blackman game to not have permanent damage to his hand. he was our Mr Football Lineman candidate. he should have a shot at playing on Saturdays in the future.

Looks like everyone else will be healthy.

Jacob is our most experienced RB ... That's a shame about Meadows ... do you think there's anyway they could put a big ol cast on him and he still play ? Is he a Senior ? It's a shame to help get your team to the State Championship and then not be able to play ... That's why we're all hoping for the best for Jacob . Thank you too Bulldog81 , nice breakdown .

I believe he is a senior. He's taking it in stride though. I feel bad for him too but he's a team player and is happy that we're here either way. I wish they could do that and he'd play...i'd pay the T$$AA to let him :roflol:

and good luck to Jacob hope he's healthy saturday!

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
