Which of the Hendersonville players are considering playing in college, and for what clubs do these guys play? Are there any signings from the current senior class?

I saw that the Centennial goalkeeper who had signed with Indiana University last year is no longer on the roster. Any information about that? Did see that Hendersonville has an alum who had a very solid career for the Hoosiers that wrapped up this past fall.

Most of the guys play for TUSC 93 out of H'ville but a couple were playing for Brentwood. Bryce Childres is the only signee I am aware of. I understand he is going to Memphis. I have not heard about their State MVP Keeper Zach Gutzman but he should play in college. I'm also not sure if Whit Gray wants to play football or soccer.

I watched them play Portland the other night and saw great improvement in a lot of the seniors who did not play varsity as juniors. I would call them late bloomers but very capable to give the Commandos a lot of depth.

I also noticed Ryan Bristol was not showing up on the IU roster but have not heard anything about the circumstances of that.

Hendersonville controlled the game vs. Beech for the most part. The midfield for Hendersonville dominated the possession. There was also a great atmosphere at the game with both Beech and Hendersonville's respected student sections turning out in great numbers.

And Gutz will be traveling with the team to the Bearden Tournament, however he is still a game time decision and it is questionable whether or not he will start.

I heard today that Zach Gutzman and Whit Gray, from Hendersonville, have both verbally comitted to play soccer at Carson-Newman

Just heard this today too, congratulations to both young men and their families.

Hendersonville knocked off CAK today in the first game of the coveted Bearden Tournament 3-2 without Gutz in goal. The game was 3-0, in Hendersonville's favor, until CAK scored off 2 free kicks in the final 15 minutes.
