Region 5 - Mt. Juliet defeats Blackman by 8 to win, Blackman 2nd. Came down to the last match with MJ up by 5 after leading by 23 with 4 matches to go... The MJ kid came from behind for a hard fought decision at 112. The gym was electric tonight, great fight by both teams.

 

Oh yeah in case the school board police are monitoring the board, I never saw Hamm at Blackman tonight. Might have heard him though,

District 12 was not settled on the mat, as McGavock def. Overton, then Antioch def. McGavock. Due to tiebreakers. D12 reps are #1-Overton #2-McGavock.

Region 6 District 10 was settled tonight at Antioch. It came down to a 3 way tie as Overton beat Antioch, McGavock beat Overton, and Antioch beat McGavock. Not sure on the details, but based on the criteria set by the coaches, Overton is District champ with McGavock 2nd. It sucks because Antioch is very solid top to bottom and could have definately made some waves at the Region duals tomorrow.
