This is a big district Match-Up in 14-A tonight. The game is extrememly big for UC who is in 3rd place in the district currrently with 3 losses and still has games with Lake Co. and Trenton.The game being played at Greenfield is an advantage for the Jackets but they must play a full game tonight to get a victory. They played a good half against Lake Co. but were blown away by a huge 3rd quarter in which the falcons scored 34 points. They must take care of the ball and #30 and #24 must knock down shots consisitently. The Jackets need to face guard the Cox kid and try and limit his touches. He seems to get frustrated and puts up some bad shots when teams are aggressive defensively on him. The problem is he is capable of putting up points in a hurry. My head tells me UC wins but I am pulling for a Jacket upset!! :thumb:

Union City wins by 17.

 

Looks alot like most Union City teams of the past run and gun with a wildman as coach. I would be ashamed to act the way the coach acts. I hope the people of Union City are proud of him because he is a jerk and he always has been. The jerk played his main team the whole game.

Where do you get wildman from? He gets into the game alot more than other coaches do or would want to. He expects hard work and dedication from his kids, he knows more about the game than other people think they do. The only reason people dislike Coach Sisco and the UC program is because of the success they have had over the years and if you don't get them this year then it will be a long time before you get another chance. The Freshman class had a very good year last year in Junior High and the Junior High team is undefeated this year. A lot of talent for the future.

All i want to know does anyone out there know anything about the middle school boys team. if not you may need to take notice,because they are one win from state. Sounds like Union City is going to be around for years to come. we will see in a few years who will and will not play us. It always happens when your down people come calling but when your not they can not be found.But the difference is UC will play always play tougher teams no matter what! Everyone needs to come out to Three Oaks Monday night and make these young men realize how much they mean to the Union City town.

16-0 and blew out Lake County over the weekend 50-28...They also blew out Humboldt in Humboldt earlier in the season...This same bunch went 9-2 during football season..They lost their last two games to Brighton and Paris Inman in the playoffs...

 

 

People will play Union City...Sisco plays hard teams every year...He doesn't even schedule 1A teams outside the district...They dug themselves a deep hole this year but are trying hard to climb out of it...If they can get two wins this week they will get back to .500 and 10-3 in the district...

 

metman08 is right...People hate on Sisco because of his success....That and the fact that even at 11-13 teams in this district, other than Humboldt and Lake County, still can't beat them...

Lol, I love how people bash a good coach. They can't beat em, so why not bash em, right? Even in some teams best years, as in this case greenfield, they still can't play with the tornados. He gets the best he can out of all of his players and always has. Rascal, how do you figure he is a jerk? Because he yells during a basketball game? Its a competitive sport man. Id much rather have a coach that is into the game yelling etc. and getting the best out of his players. Don't hate on a team or coach because you can't beat them. Normally, they earn your respect, but I guess you're a sore loser, huh? Keep on rolling sisco!

      And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…

      Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.

      Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.

      After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.

      Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
