Baylor vs Bradley

I was only offering you some confirmation.

whatever...you continue to throw out comments that infer Bradley is scared to wrestle,,,,,,I highly doubt it. It is something much more simple than that, it is a matter of principle for those that make the schedule for Bradley. Agree with it or not, it does not matter. Choosing to throw out comments about being scared is school yard kid stuff and has no basis.

As the word means, you are inferring certain things from my comments. The only problem is that those things are not there. I certainly don't think that Bradley is afraid of Baylor, or anyone else for that matter. Now I did say that Baylor was running to Minnesota but I think you are probably aware that I really don't believe that.

It is common knowledge why the schools do not wrestle and you are right, whether I agree or not does not matter. It is all about D1 and DII. D1 and DII exist and as long as D1 schools run the TSSAA the divisions will continue to exist. I don't think it is good for Tennessee wrestling, or Tennessee high school sports for that matter, but, as you said, my opinion on that really doesn't matter either.

Now mtnrasslin......I know I am from the red neck part of Tennessee and you city slickers can pull the wool over the eyes of guys like me. I am SURE you did not mean for me to infer things that are not there (even though that is the definition of the word).

I am unaware that D1 runs the TSSAA, but I will take your word on it without any discussion.

I did not say your opinion did not matter, or better, I meant that if you agreed with the policy of Bradley or not, it would not matter. I do not believe that they take an opinion poll regarding their scheduling policy.

There are no DII representatives on the TSSAA's Board of Control. I'd say you can infer that representatives of DI control, run, boss, rule, govern and reign over the TSSAA. I understand that it's a very democratic organization.

I kind of doubt that it is called a transfer if you were not in another high school to start with. I can tell you that I went to the Cleveland city schools until 9th grade when I went to Bradley. It was considered a choice, not a transfer.

I remember that. Tex was a promising middle schooler who was recruited away by bRADLEY. Just as they have always done they lured a Cleveland boy who already had 2 siblings at Cleveland away. I even heard that Logston was involved in this even though he was only 8 years old at the time.

What's up with all this criticism of Baylor and Bradley being scared to wrestle eachother? These are two state champion teams, they earned the right to do what they want even if some people don't agree.

I am selfish. I want them to wrestle because for the last roughly 15 years it would have been a very fun match to watch, anticipate, argue about ect.. I even think it is possible Bradley might have won one or two of them.

All this talk of Bradley's schedule and their "duty" to provide an exciting match for the fans. Did any of you attend the Bradley/Soddy match several weeks ago? Packed house and Rockin'! How about the Bradley/Cleveland Dual at the Cleveland Dome? Packed and Rockin'! How about the Bradley/Cleveland Region final at WV? Packed out and "Rockin'! Couldn't hear yourself think in any of the three.

Oh, and you want exciting competition? Have you checked out the DI State Dual Finals since 1998? Seems that they have been in EVERY SINGLE ONE of them for the last 14 years. Yep, wrestled Soddy several times, Clarksville, Ooltewah, Cleveland several times, Brentwood, Franklin. The competition has changed, but there has been one consistent factor. The Bradley Bears! You people have been pointing fingers, calling names and predicting failure for a very long time. Logston and the Bears? They just mind their business and keep on winning. And that's really what bugs you the most.

    • How did the scrimmage with Central go?
    • I’ve said it all year coalfield isn’t the same team as the last couple years. They have 3 really good players and another pitcher that throws low to mid 80s. Other than that, everybody else is average at best. You could make the argument that their lineup was the worst out of the 4 teams in their region tournament. Oakdale is really hot right now and playing well. Greenback was the second best team there. Wartburg was hitting it well but limped into the tournament with their center fielder being hurt and their best pitcher not being able to go on the mound for them was killer.
    • Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.
    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
