Not with a two and out State Tourney!!

Agree to a point, the double elimination really helps but seeding the top 8 in the bracket would also go along way to make sure some of the brackets aren't really loaded up on one side forcing the best to knock each other off before some make it to the medal rounds.

So according to you there are only 6 good wrestlers per weight class in the state. I think everyone can say that a lot of good wrestlers did not medal some maybe better then those that did metal but thats the way it works. Any body who has competed knows that one bad move against a good wrestler and you can be done. LEts give all of those that competed the respect they deserve

If you got beat then go home. Or maybe we should have got a worse place in the bracket... I know after the bad ref calling in a couple of matches, the kid who lost in the medal rounds would have loved to wrestled your kid... How many do you want them to lose? All kids in the bracket know how many they can lose. Good luck to you and yours next year and or in life if they are a senior.... We had fun watching Nick wrestle for the last 13 years! Now its time to start HS with the first of two little brothers........ uhhhhhggggg.... They better count back points by the time state comes for them.......!!!

As a ex wrestler state is stacked in every weight class no matter what u placed in regions you made it to state every kid earned their spot in state any kid can be beat for any reason the kids who shocked people are the best cases to make a statement no matter your seed or rank in state you can be beat.. and every wrestler deserves respect.. and that I give to every wrestler who placed and who did not there are alot of wrestlers who never go to state just a point..
