senator
The refs in general do a good job, do they miss calls yes but not near as many as we think they do, and most of time they could care less who wins. What erks me is when I see one make calls because a player or coach does or says something they don't like and make a get even or revenge call or a makeup call. This seems to happen more in post season play but I still say in my 40 years of bb I can count on one hand the games where the refs beat anyone. UCSportsFan
Its always easy to sit in the stands and make calls, i don't think i've ever missed one yet that would have helped my team out in some way be it a call that went for or against them lol, but to actually get out on the floor and make split second decisions is a totally different animal. Have i been upset at some calls, most definitely but the game is about more than a call going against you, its about adjustments, executing, and team work etc... The referee's are a part of the game but ultimately its up to the coaches and players to decide the outcome of a game. Until you've done what this lady has done and put yourself in front of hundreds of fans and had to make split second decisions over and over you shouldn't criticize her, because its alot harder to do than you think
