Great game FCS 3 Cornersville 2.

How did Cornersville look? I heard they have some girls hurt. Was that the case or is FCS that good this year? Who pitched for Cornersville?

Cornerville did not look so great to me. and no FCS is not that good!!! I thought I was going see some great pitching, NOT, There pitching did not impress me at all. The team as a whole was very sloppy .

Fagan pitched 4 innings gave up one unearned run. 1 hit - 2BB - 11K's. Fagan aggravated a mild back strain and was pulled after the fourth. Taylor Wolaver Fr. Threw well three innings & got the loss. Not worried about Cornersville. Fagan, Hopkins, Crowell, and Johnson are all hurt but should be back to 100% by April. Fagan hit a monster HR in the 7th. Many girls playing out of position due to injuries. It's still early. Just their first regular season game.

I would think Cornersville is rebuilding after loosing 5 seniors from last year. Any thoughts?

Could Cornersville be playing a cat and mouse game with everyone. They pitched there freshman tonight in a district game. Huh! They pull there senior after 3 innings at Friendship and she hits a homerun in the seventh. Huh! I guess we will find out when it counts.

So Fagan is resting and Cornersville is playing Cat & Mouse with their pitching, I understand. Fagan is too valuable to "use up" early in the season. However Cornersville has only scored 4 runs in the two games. So they told their hitters not to hit to?

This story sounds all too familiar... to last year...."EVERYONE that makes us good is hurt right now...early in the season"... "BUT when it matters we will be 100%"
