Games affected by tonight's rain

Game 2 of Siegel-Blackman was in the 4th, with the Stars up 2-0 when the rains came. They'll resume this game at 10 AM on Friday, and play Game 3 tomorrow starting at 4 PM.

 

Riverdale was leading LaVergne 10-0 in the 3rd when the rains hit. Riverdale was hosting because LaVergne didn't cover their field for last night's rains. The game will start from scratch (that's what I gather, anyway) at 6:30 PM on Friday at LaVergne.

 

Game 2 between Oakland and Smyrna has been called off completely and will be played from the start tomorrow at 6:30, with Game 3 at Smyrna pushed back to Friday.

TSSAA rule says coaches can mutually agree to resume a regular season game from the point of where it was stopped.

Why does Siegel - Blackman resume their game and Riverdale - LaVergne start from scratch?

 

Maybe R'dale wants more batting practice off live pitching.
