Just heard this yesterday that coach Egg has resigned as head boys basketball job at South Doyle high school. So here we go again who should get this job? start throwing out names. I believe it should be a person from Knoxville, thats the only way to keep some of the South Doyle middle kids there.

All three have worked under highly successful coaches at their current school and previous stops. they are relatively young and will recruit the halls/feeder schools to keep good players around.

Just confirmed that Coach Hutchens will remain at Catholic. He was wondering how these rumors get started. My best guess is, he was spotted at a Weigel's gas station buying coffee in South Knoxville and one thing led to another.

Is Higgins a certified teacher yet? I think someone should give LeBrandon a chance his names comes up for all these openings but no one gives him a chance. So with these three names you mention, I'll say Stix, Higgins, and Stewart would be my choice in that order...

Well there is still no coach. Last I heard it was between Stix and the head coach from Jefferson Co. All the interviews are in and done since monday i think and still no news. Like I said earlier SD needs to hire someone inside the county and if it's between these 2 then you know who i think deserves it!
