The Golden Tide can't run, they can't pass, they can't stop the run or stop the pass and they

can't kick, other than that, they have a pretty good team.

Milan 42

Trenton 0

I thought for sure ole Swing could stir those Tide fans up. As of right now everybodys still undefeated. C'mon Peabody fans - is anyone out there?

you were close....Milan won 42-13....Peabody didn't get a first down until 4 minutes left in the game....and that was with Coach Morris playing the 4th teamers with a few cheerleaders mixed in. Peabody had a total of 6 yards in the 1st half....why does Peabody run the spread when they have a QB that can't complete a pass....even in pre-game?

Hats off to the Bulldogs. You could tell that they were a little rusty but most teams are in their first game. I was very impressed with Caleb Appleton. If he can kick all year like he did tonight than that will be a tremendous help in determining field position for the Dawgs as well as making field goals.

This could be the worst offense that Peabody has ever had! I saw them scrimmage a couple of times this preseason and i new it would be a long year for the Tide! 500 at best and i am pushing that bar a miracle! The offense is simply terrible!

Peabody could have a decent team if the coaches would put certain kids in the right positions. Coaches need to work on coaching skills. Milan played a good game and hats off to the bulldogs. Trenton coaches need to evaluate their offense and make changes before it's to late.

fans need to realize coaches are humans...not majicians...in 23 years of coaching football...I quickly realized in every seat in the stands sits a coach....and right beside them sits a referee

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
