What do you all think about this one? Is Wartburg back to full strength? If they are I will say Wartburg wins 20-14.

I have my calendar circled for the Wartburg game in a couple of weeks. After the way that game went last season and their lucky win. They have to come to the Reservation this time around.

I havent talked with anyone lately so I am unsure about the injuries & I won't be able to go tonight. I'm pulling for my dogs. It will be a good game if we are healthy we will win 28-20. If not we might get beat bt a lot. I'm very disappointed to see that i can not even listen to the game since weco is doing a roane county game. What is up with that? a radio station located in WARTBURG & they arent even broadcasting one of the county schools. That place must be ran by idiots!

 

Also Mr. Oneida fan & no disrespect but you guys are lucky you didn't play Wartburg later in the season when they were really clicking on all cylinders or it would have been an easy W for our team. With that said the Oneida trip will be a very tough one as always.

I will be there tonight! I have been to the practices some this week and there a few bruise and bumps pre season nerves but tonight at 7 the ball will be kicked off and its that time that players give all I think they will be around 95percent and I look for them to be ok I really hope all the other teams over look and think about the games that this squad beat them in, if so this wartburg team still has speed and the line is strong the qb can throw and there are 6 or so recievers that can catch and go the distance! Good luck to all the dist and morgan county teams tonight I pray God keeps all safe!!!

Cg won 36-12. Game didnt kickoff til after 9 due to lightning. Didnt finish til close to midnight. Cg looked pretty good. Wartburg will be fine but had a tough way to go against an inspired cg team last night.

 

Dang, tough weather. Congrats on the win and thanks for the score. See you guys in a few weeks.

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
