Owls 2-0....Raiders 0-2

Should be a good game, owls remember last year's overtime loss at home. Can't wait to see our defense against Voytik and his offense.

Any key matchups?

The key matchups will be Ooltewah's receivers against Cleveland's pass defense. I want to see Bradley Stephens build on the last two performances that were against obviously inferior competition. It will be a step up in competition.

Two different philosophies and both are right depending on team. Clev chose to test themselves early scheduling two tough teams. The Owls on the other hand needed to build confidence coming off a tough year.

Should be a great game, hope the Owls pull it out

I agree, My dad was saying that Cleveland should have scheduled a game to get a confidence building win.

HA HA HA AHA..........you really think he s gonna tell you that?????? SMH

Yes I do. I could always do one of those posts my QB is better than your QB and start a flame war, but was hoping to talk football. There has not been much conversation good or bad since realignment.

I thought the Owls looked good last Friday night. I think this week will tell if they are real or just looked good against weaker teams. Both lines are much improved from last year and the play calling was fun mixing in both the run and the pass. Haven't seen that for a while. We need to be careful on containment on outside runs and kick coverage was not very good.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
