croz6110
Monterey travels to Gville Friday to begin the less challenging part to Gville's schedule. I don't look for Monterey to have much for us but you never know. I think Monterey only has a couple of posters, and they haven't been on here this year, so the rest of Region 4 will have to talk to me. slimshady
G-ville takes it 49-7 Time for the subs to get some action.
Grunt
G'ville by as many as they choose. Rotation to start early most likely.
croz6110
One of the last articles I read on Monterey said they had 3 seniors. That's one more than what I read earlier in the year. They must have picked one up somewhere. I look for us to win pretty easily. So far Gville has used pretty much different offensive gameplans in each game. Myself, I think they could use these upcoming games to work on their option looks a little more. They ran it against Smith County, and it they could get it down it would benefit them.
swanson71
Gville should win this one pretty easily. I guess after these first 3 games Gville has played it'll be nice to pick up an easy win and cruise through the rest of the games before they get into the playoffs. croz6110
Anyone seen Monterey in action? Maybe they can talk a little. I won't be able to talk with myself all week.

Looking at the 1st 4 opponents / scores, don't see much strength there. Like you said, Monterey usually doesn't have but a couple of posters. Maybe a new bunch will surface this week. I will say that I love their style of offense along with TC's.
TheAmbassador
Monterey-Cookeville will not having anything for the G-Men this week. Gordonsville wins this one by 7 touchdowns.
swanson71
Monterey seems to be a little down compared to the last couple of years. Gordonsville is has a good football team, so I don't expect Monterey to even compete in this game.

uttommy
The first game Monterey played they beat themselves. Harriman gave us turnovers in the first half and we returned the favor in the second half and that cost us the game. Baxter is a bit improved but it should have been a better game, but we failed to even show up. The Celina game was a fairly even game overall but we did pull it out and, of course, Pickett County is well we all know. Gordonsville is always a very well coached team and always has some great talent. I do hope for a good game from both sides. They did have just 2 Seniors but with some injuries they got one more kid that played as a freshman to come back out so that makes your third. Good luck to both teams and may they both come out healthy.
