Where's the Stump?

Bledsoe won because they executed better when they got it down close to the goal line, inside the 10. Eight yard TD pass in the first quarter, 6 yard TD run midway through the fourth. They also had a TD pass about 35 yards. Sequatchie scored first play of the fourth, three yard run by Fain, but blew two other chances for TDs in the first half. Second and goal at the BC 4 in the second quarter, holding puts them back and they turn it over on downs. First and goal at the 8 later in the second, illegal procedure moves them back and they make a field goal, but still that's 11 points possibly lost. Some of that can be credited to Bledsoe defense. Sequatchie also had a TD run early by Fain, right at 50 yards.

 

Sequatchie got it back with a minute left in the fourth, threw a pass of 30 yards to get it around Bledsoe's 35 but couldn't get any more first downs.

 

Maybe they can get another crack at Bledsoe in the playoffs.

 

The pre-game ceremony was very well done.

No doubt. He is the guy that is pulling the triggers in that offense. Tough player, too.
