Spoken like a woman who never played the game... Good thing the football players and coaches know overlooking anyone is a good way to get beat.

Im sure the players and coaches know and they aren't looking over Lavergne. I'm sure they have studied and prepared thereselves for them not any one else at this point.

However if I'm concerned about anyone it is Blackman and thats the honest truth.

Well if it ever happened I would let you know. I dont think anyone on here wants to meet me plus Im probably younger then most of them & the only girl on here that I know of from Rutherford county!

Are you going to come to any Riverdale games this year?

Probably will not make it down that way this fall for the regular season but am going to try to get to a playoff game!GO WARRIORS!! :hungry:

I'm lost.. Whose father is the head coach at Blackman lol?!

Shadowens is the HC at BHS, and his daughter post on CoachT, but its hard to tell who she is as she has been known to have a couple of alias id on here.

06 I agree with you RHS wins this one. and I also agree with milo and some others this is RHS's year and probably next with Woodruff at the helm. LHS is showing improvement but not turned the corner yet. RHS big in this one, 45-13

You are NOT the only 'Lady' on the boards. There is not only Shad's daughter but his wife gets on here as well. They BOTH have more aliases on here than a Mafia family. :roflol:

 

Siegel used to have a couple as well a couple of years ago. They sort of went away when most of the 'Siegel Nation' did. <_<

Well I know that this thread has been loaded up with Riverdale supporters and there hasn't been much on the LaVergne side. Well I mean at least none that is worth anything. This will most likely be a tough night for LaVergne. All signs point to a lopsided win. I hope for the kids at LaVergne that they come out in this one and play their backside off. Some good things are happening at LaVergne and I'd hate to see them take too many step backwards. I would hope they would take the attitude like they are in a fight with someone everyone knows is tougher then you but at the end they say "he may not have won that fight but he's a tough Son of a gun." Should be a nice crowd. I hope its a good game.

This one really worries me. Looking at the playoff standings Lavergne is the first team out of the playoffs. A win over Riverdale and they could jump about 9 spots in the standings because they own that second tie-breaker.

 

I'm happy to see the program rebounding at Lavergne but not this week. Riverdale needs only remember some of the monumental upsets where they've been the victim. Come ready to play tomorrow night.

Smyrna is no lock to make it this year and in the next few years will go steadily downhill in football. Smyrna Middle went several years without a single win and the impending opening of Stew Creek High will take a chunk of their zone. The four Murf. schools will dominate the 2(and then 3) northern county schools for years after that. Write it down.

NR no vandalism report for this thread? I think I remember the chief win em all statue being painted or broken sometime recently. Shouldn't you give a detailed description on this thread as I don't believe anyone was ever brought to justice over it.

      Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.

      Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.

      He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
