5A and 6A predicted bracketts

Doug, here is how it works:

If Quad 4 is Whitehaven, Brighton, Millington, Dickson Co, Arlington, Southwind, White Station and Germantown, the district winners get seeded first. Whitehaven is 1, Brighton is 2 and Millington is 3 (since Brighton beat Millington h2h). Then the other automatic qualifiers get seeded-Dickson Co is 4, Arlington 5 and Southwind 6. In the latest playoff standings before tonight, that is how they were listed. Then you would have your 2 wild cards, White Station as the 7 and Germantown as the 8.

 

So for the first round in quad 4 you would have:

1)Whitehaven vs (8) Germantown

4)Dickson Co vs (5) Arlington

 

2)Brighton vs (7) White Station

3)Millington vs (6) Southwind

 

At least that's what I think but I could be wrong

That is what I thought, but there are a couple folks saying the formula puts Millington ahead of Brighton. I am lost.

Who would go ahead of Bartlett? What hurt Bartlett chances of making the playoffs? Although I have heard by some people Bartlett is in because they beat Craigmont.

It doesn't look like head to head carries as much weight as I thought it did. I thought Brighton would be 2 and Millington 3 because they beat us head to head but it looks like it will be just the opposite. There has be some kind of reward/advantage over a team if you beat them head to head when it comes to seeding in the same quad.

MarkH , So the Ripley Tigers record might have hurt Bartlett because they finished the season 2-8 on the year.

You might want to fip-flop Bearden and Jefferson Co. though over in Quad 1.
